"The Untold Truth: A Ballad of Hero"

In a world that gazes with eyes of sorrow,
He stands, a lighthouse, promising morrow.
His odyssey, strewn with storms and trials,
Yet faith in his soul, across endless miles.

Day to night, under the moon's gentle cradle,
He treads through nightmares where only brave straddle.
The confines of his struggle dissolve into mist,
In caverns of valour, his resolve clenched in a fist.

With the torch of tenacity, he challenges the dark,
Where triumph looms distant, an elusive mark.
Yet with every breath, his spirit endures,
For in faith's radiant blaze, his existence assures.

He combats, not for accolades or embrace of fame,
But for the tranquil cadence of life's simple game.
Though the visage of victory may seem veiled,
His integrity stands, unmarred and unassailed.

To the world, a recluse, bound by unseen chains,
Misjudged, a mind captive, enduring silent pains.
His existence, woven with medicinal hues,
Yet beneath this shroud, his spirit renews.

One eve, 'neath the crescent's ethereal beam,
He sailed into nightmares, a hazy stream.
The ordinary walls of his abode gave way,
To a realm where shadows and light dance ballet.

With each cautious step, he shouldered the dread,
Of doubts and fears, a fate harshly wed.
The sting of harsh truths, a numbing plight,
Yet onward he ventured, on wings of untamed spirit.

A warrior's heart, in obscurity he contends,
Against disbelief, where the night never ends.
He stumbles, he rises, against the tide of despair,
No odds of victory, yet an unyielding affair.

Marked by ailment from the breath of his dawn,
A warrior in a duel, unseen yet drawn.
In this fray, a champion emerges, vast,
Defending, persisting, to the very last.

My brother, my hero, the untold tale,
A testament to the spirit that will never pale

I wrote this poem for my brother Karol, whose fight has no end.
The poem, in turn, inspired me to create a tragedy in two acts titled "The Untold Truth. Ballad of a Hero", which I am pleased to present here.

"The Untold Truth. Ballad of a Hero" - a tragedy in two acts

*Act I: The Veil of Night*

Scene 1: The Lighthouse

In the realm of shadows, where hope seems frail,
Stands our hero, steadfast, against the gale.
His heart, a lighthouse in the tempest's roar,
Guiding lost souls to the faith's shore.

Aria, the Whisper of Hope, flutters around our hero, her voice a soft melody that cuts through the howling winds. She is the unseen force that steadies his trembling hands and whispers, "Rise, for your story is not yet done."
