Where's Lex dammit I've called her 5 times. She might be in a car crash, or leaving or with josh, or leaving WITH josh oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck. I call her one last time and wait until I hear her joyful voice mail, "hey it's Lex leave a message after that cute little beep-"
"Lex where are you I've called you like 5 times already I just need to know you're okay, please call me back. I love you" I punched the couch,"dammit!" My yell echoes through the house. I swipe my coat off a chair and my keys off the table and head out to look for her but as soon as I step outside I sitting in the car On the driveway looking straight ahead emotionless.

"Lex baby" I shake my head, I walk towards her and get in the car, I don't say anything I just hug her because that's what she needs. She doesn't need someone telling hers it's going to be okay becAuse truthfully I don't know if it's going to be okay, she just needs someone to hold her and cry with her and make her eat her feelings away. As I'm hugging her I see her knuckles bruised,

"What happened?" I pick them up.

"I punched Andrea" she rubbed her knuckles.

"You what!?" I laughed knowing Andrea deserved it but not from me no woman should ever be hit my a man.

"She called me a bitch. And then pulled my hair and pushed me what was I supposed to do,I punched her and she fell on the floor"

"Damn I want to fuck you right now just one knock and she's down"

"But you can't" she broke down in tears, "because I'm a fat bitter pregnant woman with twins!"

"Hey! You are not fat or bitter" I looked straight in her eyes.

"I'm loosing sight of my ankles, tell me that's not fat"she moved her chin.

"It's not, it's our children" I brought her to look back at me with her big brown eyes.

"And I killed James, I was so busy being mad at you I didn't pay attention to him, I let him get in that car, I was the one who killed him I did it"
I grabbed her hands and made her look at me, "no you didn't Lex, and you have to see that. James would have gotten in that car even if you weren't mad at me its a thing teenage boys do"

"Where's josh?"

"At his hotel room"

"Tell him to go home, go back to work I'm just, he's waiting for something that's never going to happen, us"

"Me and him- we kinda sorta kissed"

She looked at me crying, "maybe little more but no ones parts were shoved in"

"I'm sorry" she whispered.

"its not nothing, I screwed up and I'm sorry" she banged on the steering wheel.

"Just drop it Lex, please I forgive you" I hugged her.

"you do?" She sniffled boogers hanging from her nose.

"Of course, I love you" I wiped them away and we both chuckled.

"I love you too, I just - " She covered her face with her hands, " i need help, I need some sort of help, therapy or medication"

"Okay, we can go take you somewhere"

"I'm sorry, I know I've been sucky lately, not me, not the girl who sings in the cabin ,but Im trying, I am" she cried her cheeks turning a red, I pulled her towards me so that her head was on my chest, I kissed the top of her head,

"I know, I hate that you think of yourself that way but I don't"

She leaned her head on my shoulder, I know she's not the same and I know she has classes, a baby, and depression about her brothers loss but she needs something joyful in her life. She needs something to get her mind off of things like a vacation or something like full of Joy, like a puppy! A PUPPY! Awe, a little brown one or white one.

"I'm going to go inside and sleep"

"Alright, I'm just going to go out I'll be back in a bit. Want Chinese?"

"Sure" She shrugged getting out. I watched her go back inside and then got into the driver side. I backed out of the driveway and was on my way to aloha pets.

As I'm driving there I feel helpless like nothing I do might make Lex feel okay, I know she needs to figure this out on her own but I want to help her. I need to help her.

When I arrive everyone seems busy, I tap on this girls shoulder and she turns and looks at me, "how can I help you... HEY ARENT YOU KIAN LAWLEY!!" She jumps up and down, "oh my gosh I love your videos you're so funny. You should post more often ooo and you should go on tour oh my gosh you have so many fans"

"You watch my videos?" I forgot all about my YouTube videos this past week I've been so caught up in everything being thrown at me.

"Yeah, they're really good very honest but still funny"

"Oh thanks-" I felt my cheeks burn, "um I looking for a dog, or a puppy to keep me busy"

"Oh okay well what kind of dog, or puppy we have a bunch of different kinds I wouldn't recommend long hair dogs it's very hard for them to be in the sun all day because it's so hot"

"Maybe a golden retriever? Or an really nice puppy of any kind that will want to run around but is nice enough to be around a baby"

"Well let's go this way" she led me to a play pin full of puppy's small ones big ones black ones white ones.

"That's the one" I pointed to a small golden puppy gnawing on her toes in a ball.

"Oh she's a bit of challenge she chews and poops a lot"

"That's alright we need a distraction"

"So I can get her leash and then you can pay and your on your way"

"Great" I picked her up, "hi puppy" I rubbed my nose against hers.

"So YouTube is not really important to you?"

"Oh no it's is I love YouTube, it's a good way for me to express myself"

"Yeah, you have lots of fans already. It's impressive actually"

"You should at least attempt to put together a meet and greet, I mean people are going to show up you have fan pages" she smirked.

"Fanpages?" I coughed.

"Yeah don't you have an Instagram?"

"Yeah but I never go on it"

"People really like a hot guy with a heart"

We were both quiet.

"Do you want to go out sometime?"

"Oh...um I actually. I have a- I just- I just got out of a tough situation between two girls, and um I just need a brake I'm sorry"

"Right. Here's your leash and everything else you'll need enjoy your puppy"

I got her leash and paid and was on my way,
