KIANS POV

I sat there watching her sleep for a day. She hasn't eaten or gotten up since yesterday. Not even to pee. Teegan and Zander are with my mom. Izzi is coming any minute.

"Hey. Lex can we chat real quick?" I whispered.

She didn't say anything.

"You know what it's fine. I'll just talk, you listen"
I took a deep breath trying to straighten my thoughts.

"Losing this baby feels like the end of the world. How can you go on when someone you love can't go with you, I don't understand that pain. I can't, because you were literally more attached to this baby. But I can understand the pain of you having pain. That doesn't really make sense but um... you feel the pain of losing the baby. I feel the pain of you having pain. Baby I wish you didn't buy how could not. We're okay. We'll be okay. We have Teegan and Zander, we have hazel, we have each other. I promise you what I said to you was meant for my father. I love you. I need you to love me. I need you to say something"

"I was only a couple weeks but They noticed features that suggest it was a boy. Our son died because I'm not strong enough. I wanted to name him Jonah" she whispered, "Jonah our baby boy"

I started to cry, "I'm sorry. He's gone. And if I could bring him back with out a doubt. But he's not coming back and we need to move on, not right now. Right now we cry, and we're sad, and a little mad. But soon we need to move on"

"I lost our kid. I lost my Jonah. He was going to be tall like you, he was going to look exactly like you. Jonah Robert Lawley. He was going to be your new best friend. I just imagined so much out of him, I think he got too scared and went away"

"Babe. I know you don't want another baby. But we can have a new Jonah"

"No we cant. But thats like you said, we teegan and zander" she smiled

"Hey" Izzi knocked, " I talked to the doctor, he said you can leave in a couple hours. Teegan and Zander are with mom. They um...they're okay" she stumbled for words but instead she started crying, " I really wanted you and the baby to be okay. I'm sorry " 

"It's okay Iz" She motioned for her to sit on the bed, "Kian told me something that made sense"

She smiled at me, "Right now we cry, and we're sad, and a little mad. But soon we need to move on. Jonah wasn't ready yet"

"It was a boy?" She sniffled. 

"They think it was"

She started crying again, "He would have looked just like Kian"

"I know" She smiled. 

"Well I have to go. I just wanted to make sure you guys were okay. I love you guys"

"Love you too"

She left leaving me and Lex alone. 

"Im still hurting. But I'm okay" She tried to get up.

"No, no, you should sit down"

"Im fine" She snapped, "Just let be" she took a deep breath, "We have to leave soon anyways might as well give em a bed early right. Im not the only woman whose had a miscarriage"

"I dont think you should be up"

"Too bad" She laughed, "Im a big girl I can walk"

"Why won't you let me help you?"

"I dont need it. I raised myself, I know how to get past loss. I missed our childrens first birthday. I missed singing happy birthday to them and today we have to meet with a realtor in LA. So were going to go pick up the kids and drive to LA. We have to try and move on"

"We can't look at houses"

"Why not?"

"Im not ready to move on"

"Nether am I. But I'm going to try"

"Okay fine" 

"Were okay Kian. Well get through this"

"Yeah" I sighed

LEX

The drive was quiet. Teegan and Zander sensed the tension and didnt bug at all. 

"So babies are we ready to see new houses?" I smiled. 

They just sat there. I dont know what I was expecting. 

"We are!" Kian smiled trying to make me feel better. 

We arrived in LA and met with our realtor Bradley who I haven't met yet at this house. 

When we pulled into the driveway of a small cozy house. A tall woman with familiar long brown hair stood facing the house. When she turned around it was non other then Bradley my old best friend. 

"Lex?! " She eked, "Oh my gosh I haven't seen you since?"

"You got sent to rehab in Kentucky!"

"And my mom died, yeah. Are you still with that hot piece of ass" She smiled. 

Kian came around holding both Teegan and Zander. 

"Ooohhh" she got quiet. 

"Hey I think I know you" Kian smiled. 

"Kian. Camp councilor right?"

"Yeah. Bradley! Rehab girl right?" 

"Right" She rolled her eyes. 

"Whose kids are these?"

"Ours"  I smiled taking Zander from Kian, "This is Zander, and thats Teegan"

"Oh. Um okay. well lets look inside" She seemed super awkward. 

Wow. Not the Bradley I remember.
