The ship was surrounded by Askeladd's pirates. Along the edges, stood men with bows pulled back with arrows. "Thorfinn, it will be alright." Athena whispered.

She held Thorfinn in her arms. The crew was completely blocked in. Some of the younger men were thinking of surrendering to the pirates. 'These pirates are different.' Athena thought.

Thrain had told her about the dangers of the deep waters, such as pirates. They were greedy men looking for trouble and gold. These pirates seemed to have a different objective in mind.

Thorfinn, slowly looked up to his father with a worried look. "Father..." He mumbled. Thors response was a simple reassuring pat on the head. Then, Thors cracked his neck from side to side.

"Athena, promise me? You'll protect Thorfinn." Thors uttered. Athena's eyes became serious. This sent goosebumps down her spine. The woman had a bad feeling. She nodded her head in response.

Thors walked over to a large chest against the ship. It held Thors old battle gear and weapons. He grabbed a large sword and a small dagger. Athena noticed his fist harden against the small dagger. "Thorfinn and Athena, use this only to protect yourselves." Thors said.

He handed the dagger to Thorfinn, while Athena still held him in her arms. "Are you going to kill them, father?" Thorfinn asked. Thors gave his son a serious look. "Don't say that word, so lightly." He responded.

Athena noticed a strange man put fungi into his mouth. She wanted to puke at the sight. Askeladd smirked at the woman's disgust towards Bjorn's actions.

"Hey, Askeladd! Do you want me to take care of these weaklings in one swing? I want to find out the kind of man this Troll of Jom is." Bjorn sneered. Askeladd looked towards the ship, specifically the woman on board. "Be my guest. He seems just as eager, but remember Thrain's brat is mine." He enforced.

Thors jumped onto the pirates ship. He glared at the pirates. The man looked almost menacing. A pirate tried to whack Thors with an axe, but failed. Thors punched him straight in the nose.

The pirates scrambled to get a hit on the warrior. Athena watched with fascination in her eyes. Thrain was right. Thors was always the truest warrior.

Pirates were flying left and right. Thors never even used his sword against them. Bjorn couldn't believe his eyes. 'How could a single man take down all of those men?' He wondered, curiously. His captain was a smirking monster.

Askeladd has been waiting to experience this moment. It will get more exciting, until he finally gets to meet Thrain's spawn. "Not bad, Troll of Jom." He sneered, happily.

Athena watched as Thors beat every pirate in his path. There was one priate that stood out the most, Bjorn. He was a tall and muscular man with brown hair.

She rememebered the fungi he ate. It wasn't just any normal fungi. The man's eyes grew wild with bloodlust. This was not good for Thors, or the priates. They were concerned about the ship breaking.

"Athena, what's wrong with him?" Thorfinn uttered. "He must have eaten the berserker fungi." Athena responded, fearful. Bjorn let out a crazed rawr. His eyes were rolled back into his head.

Though, Thors took him out with one punch. It got more dangerous for Athena and Thorfinn. Another ship was coming towards them. Within the ship, was Sir Askeladd himself.

"Alright, I want these fools alive." Askeladd demanded. He pointed towards the ship with the tip of his sword. It pointed straight at Athena and Thorfinn.

"Thrain's spawn, I'm coming for you." Askeladd smirked.
