Chapter 4
Dylan lightly knocked on the door of his in-law's mansion. The door was opened by his father-in-law. "Come in, Dylan." He coldly said. Dylan came into the living room and saw his mother looking disappointed. Izzy sat there on the huge couch and was glued to her phone. "Dylan, why did you divorce her?" His mother asked. "In case none of you realized, she is a gold digger!" He said, raising his voice a bit. Izzy got up pretending to be honest. "I would never do anything like that!" She said with innocent eyes. "Well, whenever I get paid you always pop up and take 80% of my money." Dylan calmly said. Izzy froze right there. "How dare you talk like that about her!" His father-in-law yelled. "Because you do not know her as much as you think you do..." Dylan said, rather annoyed. "Well, since you divorced her, I will have to find another woman." His mother muttered. "Alright..." Dylan said, least bothered, and left.
"Alright everyone, I want 10 laps around the field asap!" Dylan commanded. "And Emely, you're late again!" He said. "Sorry" She muttered. Suddenly her phone rang. "Who is it?" He asked strictly. "My mother..." She said. "Go answer it." He said.
