"Be bold, be swift, be sure..."

Dear Captain
Chapter 5

Emely answered the phone away from the others.
"Hello?"
"Where are you!?" Her mother said with fear. "With a friend." She said calmly. "But I called up all your friends and they said you weren't there." Her mother said angrily. "Oh that's because I found a partner and now I am living with him." I said. "Oh, oh my baby!" She cried in joy. "You found a partner! I am so, so very proud of you!" She said, "I would like to meet him." She added. "Sure..." Emely said, cutting the phone.
It was obvious that Emely lied that she was in a relationship and had a partner. But she didn't really have a choice.
She calmly walked back to the field. "Is everything okay?" Dylan asked, looking at Emely who looked very stressed. "Yes, I am." She sighed. "... If there is a problem you can come and talk about it anytime." He replied with his same old emotionless face. "Alight." Emely said with a small smile on her face.
Later that evening, Emely showed up in front of Dylan's doorstep and lightly knocked on the door. He came and opened the door. "Hello, Emely." He calmly said. "Good evening, Captain." She said formally. "No need to be formal." He permitted and let her in.
"So, what seems to be the problem?" He asked her while serving her some water to drink. "Well, I lied to my mother that I have a partner when I... don't." Emely said. Dylan nearly spat out his drink due to shock. She sighed and looked down at her glass. Dylan sighed. "I'm sorry to hear that..." He said. She looked at Dylan for a while and said. "Will you pretend to be my partner?" She asked. "P-partner?" He asked, confused. "Yes!" She squealed. "I'm not sure if that's possible..." He said. "Why not?" She asked. "I... I won't be able to because I have my own plans then." He sighed. "Oh?" She asked. "Yeah, I am getting married to some other woman." He said. "Do you like her?" Emely asked, looking at him with sorrowful eyes. "No..." He said.
A few minutes of silence was between the two. "Hey um... it's getting late. You should go." He said. She nodded her head and left. The only reason he said no was because he knew why they couldn't be together. And that... was something NO ONE knew.
He sat down on his couch thinking about Emely. 'Her sleep has become my weakness...' He thought with a light chuckle. Then he got a call from his mother. "Hello?" he answered
