Chapter 5
"Hello, Dylan..." His mother replied. Dylan didn't want to talk with his mother but he didn't have a choice. "I found a bride for you. Emily Daniel." She said with a smile. 'Emily Daniel' He thought. His own candidate. "Alright, have a good night mother." Without waiting for her response, he cut the call. He sighed. He internally loved her but rejected her. 'Why?' He thought to himself.
The next day arrived. He left Jimmy in charge with the candidates. "Okay, don't mess things up." Dylan threatened. "No sir! I promise you, everything will be ship shake!" He reassured. Dylan raised an eyebrow when Jimmy said ship shake. He didn't think much deep and left.
He left the base with a frown. As in his same emotionless face. He got into his car and sped off.
"Emily, I found you a batter man!" Her mother said on the call. Emily rolled her eyes disinterested. "Who's the man?" She asked. "Dylan Mendoza." Her mother said. "Dylan!?" She asked with wide eyes.
