BELLA

It was the last day of cheer camp. I had gotten home and I was in full uniform because our coaches wanted to see everything meshed together. I'd call it a dress rehearsal if it were theater. I had just got home 10 minutes ago and I hear a knock.

"Kass! Are you expecting anyone?" I rubbed my eyes.

"No! It's for you." She yelled back.

I shook my head and opened the door. My eyes widened. No damn way.

"Hi B!"

I'm greeted by Ashton and Kate.

"What are you guys doing here?"

"I missed you.. and Michael. So I picked up Kate and drove here."

"You drove here?" I shake my head, "Uh wow! Hi."

"Okay you're fake." Ashton laughed.

"Sorry I just got home from practice like 10 minutes ago."

"She's back in uniform!" Ashton comes in to hug me. Kate's standing there like a deer in headlights with her hands in her pockets.

"Yeah yep in my UCONN cheer uniform." I faked a laugh.

They come inside and I close the door behind them.

"Where's the bathroom?"

"Uh right down that way." I point and he nods.

"Hi B."

"Hey."

We haven't spoken since our fight. That was 2 almost 3 weeks ago.

"How've you been?"

"Good just busy." I nod.

"Same."

This couldn't be any more awkward than it already is. Ashton  comes back, "Okay so! I am gonna hit up Michael. You two have fun!" He heads out.

"Ashton! My bed has a loose screw could you come and fix it?"

"I think you can handle that yourself  B."

"No I'd rather you look at it."

"Just twisted it back into place." Ashton scoffed.

"If you don't come and help me I will twist you out of place." I say through my gritted teeth.

"Okay okay." I hurry into my room and he follows me.

"Dude what the hell?"

"What!? I thought a surprise from Kate would make you happy!"

I threw my head back, "No. We had a fight and haven't spoken in weeks."

"Ooh sorry Bells. Well now you can fix it!" He runs out, "Bye Kate!"

I shake my head change into my UCONN crop top and a pair of shorts before heading outside.

"I am so sorry I told him it was a bad idea and he wouldn't take no for an answer."
