Aanya sat down with Shanaya, still fuming from her earlier encounter.

“What happened? You look screwed,” Shanaya said, taking a sip of her Americano latte.

Aanya took a long sip of her cold coffee before responding. “Nothing much, just had an unfortunate run-in with some pervert,” she replied, rolling her eyes.

Shanaya raised an eyebrow. “What happened?”

Aanya recounted the entire incident, from the mistaken hug to the sarcastic exchanges that followed.

“Maybe he was telling the truth too, Anaya darling,” Shanaya suggested thoughtfully.

“Maybe, but he called me ‘someone like you,’ and that really messed with my head,” Aanya replied dramatically, throwing her hands up in exasperation.

“Chill, girl. For me, you’re the finest creation on earth, and maybe for the world too,” Shanaya said, flashing a soft smile.

“Stop it, babe,” Aanya said, returning the smile.

“I just hope I don’t run into that punk again. Otherwise, I might chop him,” she added, her eyes narrowing playfully.

Austin’s POV

Austin sat across from his best friend, James, in the same café where Aanya and Shanaya were.

“What happened, dude? Your sister didn’t show up? You look tense!” James remarked, noticing Austin’s furrowed brow.

“No, she didn’t show up, and I mistook someone else for her. We ended up having a fight. She’s totally nuts, bro,” Austin replied, taking a sip of his cold coffee.

“And she called me a pervert,” he added, irritation creeping into his voice.

James laughed, shaking his head. “Pervert? How does it feel to be called that for the first time? Feeling proud?”

“Stop it, bro. I just hope I don’t encounter her again,” Austin sighed.

“Okay, okay, chill,” James replied, trying to hold back his laughter.

“Let’s get going; we can drink our coffees on the way,” Austin suggested, rising from his seat.

“Alright!”

They both stood up and headed toward the exit.

Aanya and Shanaya

As Aanya and Shanaya got up to leave, drinks in hand, Aanya suddenly tripped over her own foot. She managed to keep her cold coffee from spilling, but her other hand landed right on someone’s backside.

Both girls gasped in shock, and Aanya quickly withdrew her hand. Just then, a voice bent down to apologize.

Austin gasped at the unexpected touch and turned around, only to find it was the same girl from earlier.

“Now look who the pervert is. I only touched you from behind, and you just hit me on my ass, Miss,” Austin said, sarcasm lacing his words.

Aanya’s cheeks flushed with embarrassment as she looked up at him. “I—uh—sorry! That wasn’t intentional!” she stammered, realizing the irony of the situation.

Shanaya chuckled beside her, clearly entertained by the unexpected turn of events. “Looks like you two are destined to keep running into each other.”

Aanya shot her glare, mortified. “This isn’t funny, Shanaya!”

Austin smirked, enjoying the banter. “Maybe fate is just playing with us,” he said, crossing his arms.

“More like a bad joke,” Aanya retorted, trying to regain her composure.

As the tension shifted from awkward to oddly comfortable, both Aanya and Austin couldn’t help but feel that this strange encounter was far from over.
