"If you will love me without hurting me then you are the first one love"

Restaurant SceneAanya took a bite of her croissant, savoring the buttery flakiness. “Who were you talking to that you didn’t come?” she asked, curiosity piquing her interest.
Shanaya replied, “The meeting with the Arthur company, nothing else.”
Aanya’s eyes lit up. “So when is the meeting scheduled?”
“They scheduled it for tomorrow,” Shanaya said, a sigh of relief escaping her lips.
“Good thing! They’ve delayed long enough,” Aanya remarked, her smile wide.
“Yes, finally,” Shanaya replied, taking a deep breath to steady her nerves. “They have to pay for keeping me waiting.”
“It’s okay, love,” Aanya reassured her, but her mind drifted back to Austin’s ocean-blue eyes, replaying their rollercoaster moment over and over.
“No, I can’t. He’s just an ass,” Aanya muttered, shaking her head, trying to dispel the thoughts.

James's POV
“It's just a mere attraction, you dumbass. Just get over it,” James scolded himself, kicking his foot in frustration.
“You’ve been saying that for an hour, dude! At least tell me what this mere attraction is,” Austin replied, sounding defeated.
Austin was still caught up in the memories of the amusement park. Though his body was present, his mind and soul were somewhere else, replaying the scene where he had fallen on top of Aanya.
“Why are you smiling like a fool?” James snapped, trying to pull Austin back to reality.
“Am I smiling? No, I am not,” Austin said, avoiding eye contact, his thoughts still on Aanya.
“Leave it, buddy. You have a meeting tomorrow with the Raisinghanis, right?” Austin reminded him.
“Yeah, I have to attend because of Dad,” James said quietly, a hint of reluctance in his tone.

Arthur Company
Shanaya arrived at Arthur Company, exuding confidence and professionalism. Her eyes burned with determination as she approached the receptionist.
“Ma’am, please head towards the office for the meeting,” the receptionist instructed.
“Okay, thank you,” Shanaya replied, offering a polite smile.
She knocked on the door.
“Come in,” a voice called from the other side.
As Shanaya entered, she was met with the sight of James, who felt as if the breath had been knocked out of him. It was as if he were dreaming, unable to believe what he was seeing.
Shanaya froze, her shock evident. “You!” she exclaimed, her voice filled with disbelief.
“You!” James echoed, mirroring her surprise.
“So, you are Mr. Arthur,” Shanaya said, her tone shifting to one of authority.
“Yes, I am. And your name is...?” James asked, running a hand through his hair, trying to appear composed.
“Shanaya, Shanaya Raisinghani,” she replied, folding her arms.
“So you were talking about our deal at the amusement park, right?” she asked, raising an eyebrow, suspicion dancing in her eyes.
“Which meeting? No, I was not,” James said, refusing to concede.
“Oh really? Sorry to say, Mr. Arthur, but this meeting is as important to me as it is to you. You get it, Mr. Arthur?” Shanaya challenged, her smile tinged with determination.
“Yes, Miss Shanaya, I know. I get it, and I apologize for the inconvenience,” James replied, his secretary standing beside him, wide-eyed at James’s unexpected calmness.
“Miss Raisinghani, do you need anything? Just feel free to ask me,” his secretary offered, a beaming smile on his face.
“No, thank you, and thank you for asking, Mr...” Shanaya replied, her smile polite.
James’s attention darted between his secretary and Shanaya, who were both smiling at each other. A pang of jealousy surged through him as he felt the tension in the room.
“You can go,” James said sharply, dismissing his secretary.
“So, Miss Shanaya, let’s get to business. Do you want something?” James asked, leaning back in his chair, trying to regain his authoritative demeanor.
“Yes, Mr. Arthur, let’s talk business. And thank you for asking; I don’t need anything,” Shanaya replied as she took a seat.
James struggled to maintain his tough facade, but Shanaya’s presence made his heart race uncontrollably. Was this really just a mere attraction, or was it something deeper? Was their connection a twist of fate or merely a business deal?
As the meeting began, both were acutely aware of the unspoken tension lingering in the air, hinting at something more significant than just business.
