ـــــــــــــــﮩ٨ـ♡The warm summer breeze rustled the leaves of the trees lining the quiet residential street as Sunjae stood patiently in front of Sol's house, his gaze fixed on the small blue door that had been a familiar sight for as long as he could remember.
The familiar neighborhood, the streets he had walked countless times, the houses he had grown up alongside – all of it was about to become a part of his past.
His gaze then shifted on the towering stacks of boxes beside him. As he contemplated the boxes, a movement from the corner of his eye caught his attention. There, emerging from the familiar blue door of Sol's house, was the warm and welcoming figure of Mrs Im, Sol's mother.
Sunjae watched as her eyes widened in surprise, quickly taking in the sight of the boxes that lined the front of his home. She hurried towards him, her expression a mix of concern and curiosity.
"Sunjae-ya, are you guys moving out?" she asked, her voice laced with a hint of worry.
Sunjae nodded slowly, "My dad and I have decided to move out after my high school graduation ceremony. I'll be going to university soon, and my dad thought it was the right time for a change."
Sol's mother's brow furrowed, and she placed a gentle hand on Sunjae's arm. "I see," she murmured, her gaze filled with empathy. "That must be a bittersweet moment for you, my dear."
"It's a sudden decision, so I can't really say the otherwise", He sighed, slightly letting a small chuckle before he shifted his gaze back to the familiar blue door of Sol's house.
Sunjae couldn't help but to clear his throat,"Mrs Im..," he began, his voice slightly hesitant, "Is Sol at home? I was hoping to see her before..." His words trailed off, the unfinished sentence hanging in the air between them.
Sol's mother's expression softened with understanding, and she gently shook her head. "I'm afraid not, Sunjae-ya," she replied, her tone laced with a hint of regret. "Sol is out with some friends today. She's been quite busy with the end of high school and all."

The night had settled in and as the streetlights flickered to life, a weary but determined figure made her way down the familiar path, her steps slow and heavy with the fatigue of a long day.
Sol, her backpack slung over one shoulder, trudged towards the familiar blue door of her home, her mind still echoing with the hushed conversations and the rustling of pages from her group study session at the library. It had been a productive, but draining, evening, and all she craved now was the comfort of her own room and a good night's rest.
"I'm home," she called out, her tone laced with the exhaustion of a long day.
Just as she was about to make her way upstairs, her mother's voice reached her ears. "Sol-ah, could you take some fruit to your brother's room before you go up?"
Sol couldn't help but knit her brows in confusion. "But Oppa doesn't like fruits," she murmured to herself, the words almost slipping out before she could stop them. Truthfully, she was far too tired to argue, and with a resigned nod, she made her way towards the kitchen.
Gathering a small bowl of assorted fruits, Sol began the short journey to her brother's room, her steps dragging ever so slightly.
As she approached the familiar door, she reached out to push it open, "Oppa, your...", She paused, what greeted her, however, was a sight that made her breath catch in her throat.
