Sunjae stood outside Sol's gate, a warm smile playing on his lips as he waited patiently. The scene of the previous night was still fresh in his mind, and the memory of finally confessing his feelings to her filled him with a sense of exhilaration.
As Sol approached the gate, his breath caught in his throat. Sunjae's smile only grew wider when Sol's gaze met his.
He could see the surprise and confusion written across her features, then slowly, Sol walked right past him, her gaze fixed straight ahead. She seemed completely unaware of his presence,
- or perhaps deliberately ignoring him.
But as he watched Sol's retreating figure, he noticed the slight tremble in her steps and the way her shoulders were tense.
Suddenly, it dawned on him – she wasn't ignoring him, she was simply too stunned to react.
A glimmer of hope flickered within Sunjae's chest. Could it be that she was just as nervous and unsure as he was? That the sight of him had left her flustered and unable to act?
Gathering his resolve, Sunjae took a deep breath and turned to follow her.
"Wait for me, Sol-ah", His voice was laced with a mixture of urgency and tenderness, desperate to keep her from slipping away.

Slowly, he reached down and gently intertwined his hand with hers. "I told you," he murmured, his gaze unwavering, "I'll pursue you from now on, right?"
