We stayed overnight, and the next day I was with Mearing at the base doing some preparations and listening to Sentinels Speech. "...when we have transported all we need, we will leave your world in peace. For such peace to exist, you must immediately exile the Autobot rebels you have harbored." I scoffed at that. "Like, that is our best goal." I said annoyed. Sam just arrived at the base, and I was to speak first.
"Have you found her?" "Yes, she is okay." He told me and looked at Mearing. "We'll debrief you in transit." "Yeah, I really don't see how I can be any help. I mean, you guys seem pretty busy. We could just do this another time, I think." Sam said while he made some weird moves. "Are you okay, Sam?" I asked. "Yeah, I'm just fine." "Director." Someone called her, and we went over to the TV. "Just moments ago, legislation was passed. To exile the autobots from American shores. The U.S military alliance with them is officially over. In the words of the House Majority Leader, the sponsor of the today's......"
"What?" I whispered and watched the TV with wide eyes. "No, they can't do that Mearing." I told her, but she shook her head at me. "We have to follow orders Y/n." "They're our allies, our friends; we can't do this." "It's over, Witwickey" She spoke harshly, and I looked at her broken.
While we were on the plain, I sat as far away from Sam and Mearing I could go. While they still talked. When we landed, we drove to the place where they're gonna send them away. That's when I noticed someone. "Epps?! Is that you?!" I ran up to him, and we hugged each other when Sam approached us, and they shook hands. "I retired from the Air Force. Now I just consult to run interference for them. No more combat and aliens shooting at my ass. I got a dream job. Kicking the Autobots out. Can you believe it?" "Where do you think it's taking them......" I turned away from them to go to the rocket, where I saw Bee looking at me.
"Bee." I spoke, and he bent down to me. "We're gonna do---whatever we can. Make it like it was. You will always be my friend, Y/n. I gotta be going now." He told me, and I noticed Optimus walking up to us in the background. Tears started to form in my eyes, and I stretched my hand out for a last fistbumb, and when he reached in with his hand, we said at the same time, "Sting like a Bee." After that, he turned around to talk to Sam a few sentences, leaving me with Optimus. "They can't be doing this." "What your leaders say is true. This was all my fault. I told them who to trust. I was so wrong." I then looked to the side. "That makes you human for a change." I told him. "Remember always this: You may lose your faith in us, but never in yourself." "I will never lose faith in you, prime." I told him, looking up at him. He turned around to walk away. "You are an idiot." I said under my breath, but he heard it. "What?" "To just leave me like that. You are an Idiot for just leaving me alone!" "It was not my choice." He said, and I felt the tears leaving my eyes again. Optimus came up to me and bent down in front of me. With one finger he softly lifted my head, and with the other he carefull wiped the tears away. "There's no need to cry. Remember always, I love you and always will." He said, and after he let go of me, I had to hold onto the railing to not fall. I looked at the Sunset while Optimus and Sam shared a last conversation that I hadn't hear. When they finished, I looked back at Optimus who also looked at me. Then, a moment later, he turned around and went to the rocket to get them into space.
I crouched down on the floor in pain, and Sam bent down next to me. "Years from now, they're going to ask us, Where were you when they took over the planet? We're gonna say, We just stood by and watched." Simmons said, and I looked at him with tears in my eyes. "Come on, let's go away from here." Sam said and grabbed me. I went to a long field far away from the rocket where I could still see everything. And I also saw it as the rocket flew into space, and suddenly a jet approached in at destroyed it. As I saw this I fell to my knees and stareted screaming in pain.
Later on Sam called me to get his girlfriend back because apparently she is still in the hands of the decepticons or a guy who works for them. But for real now? I don't care about Carly; I just care about killing that Sentinal or getting killed in the meantime. I don't even care. But it's his fault; the autobots are dead. It's his fault Optimus is dead. And I will either get my revenge or get killed.
I noticed Sam, Simmons and Dutch. "I need your help to track a phone call. There's a man on this phone. He's the head of their human operations, and he has Carly as a hostage," Sam told them. "Come with me." I showed them a room where they could track him down.
