The atmosphere around Foggy Bottom turned tense, knowing the final standoff between the two forces is about to begin.
No one's in sight, Skye made sure of that. She felt relieved as she could finally release everything without any limitations involved.
Other than that, she had nothing else to lose.
On the other hand, The Copycat, who became concerned about what the cockapoo did in front of him. He grew a feeling of distraught. What became even surprising was that she took in some sort of magic form that he hadn't seen before. Looking at Skye, who now looked different.
Copycat: *thought* What kind of trick did she just pull off...?
But he knew, at this moment he shouldn't be worrying about the difference between their powers, because he was close of achieving his very own goal. He found Skye who was merely an obstacle to him.
But little did he know, Skye wasn't worth like the tiny stones in his way. In fact, she was a mountain.
He grew a smirk, hiding his unusual feelings away. Even though knowing himself starting to sweat out of fear, he tried his best to keep his cool.
Copycat: ...So you decided to fight me all by yourself. Truly courageous.
Skye: I'm more than enough for you, so... leave them alone.
Copycat: *laughs* Is that so? Maybe you should know by now... if I defeat you right here and now, the only pup that's left to protect your friends and allies... then there will be absolutely NO ONE left to stand in my way anymore.
"When that happens, you and your friends will watch in the afterlife as sidelines to see how I destroy those humans all by myself!!"
Skye: *grins* That's never gonna happen. Anyway, let's finish this.
Copycat: *growls* Yeah, the sooner the better. I'll make sure to crush you to bits this time!!
Skye then realized the situation. If she falls this time, everything will vanish to dust, and that includes herself and all living beings on this planet. She's the last line of defense that's left to save the world.
Looking at her shining crystal, she smiled, feeling grateful for making it out till this far. Having such great friends and the people she made throughout her journey, which gave her such wonderful memories.
She was in doubt if this was the last time she'll see her friends again.
Still, she had a sense of regret, of not being able to confess her feelings to someone she admired and loved most at her final moments, Chase.
Even so, this wasn't the end of her life yet. She knew she had something else left to accomplish before she could even leave this place.
Looking at her enemy, which gave her the true reason.
Skye: Everyone's hopes and dreams, I won't shatter it to waste!!
Finished, Skye launched herself right at The Copycat at full light speed, with a big burst of power.
The Copycat did the same, as both of them charged at each other preparing for a power hit.
When they got close to each other, they clashed their powered fists at the same time, generating a massive explosion that shook across the whole map itself. The land even started to let out cracks.
Both of them resisted to each other's attacks, trying to push their opponent backwards while emitting energy all over the landscape, unknowingly causing tremors and hurricanes around them.
