Love Calls

Sara Yoder and Andrew Miller one of Fannys sons are going out to date. A fix up by Olive and Anna. They were all set for a fun time. Needless to say Fanny put in some of her suggestions. They all laughed yet listening taking it all in ." I hope to see you all at the horse shoe pit for couples right down from here." Then pointing in that direction. " You kids will really try it to see ? Oh and if your eating out try the little restaurant there a mile from her downtown Kalona , Colony Restaurant." " Yes we shall ," Anna said all enthused. Olive did too and Sara. DeeAnn laughed amused about them being so excited. Because Al and herself felt the same way when they were courting. And still together after all these years happy still dating ,Al laughs .
     Few yet most fall in love at first sight. Love Calls and you must answer it . The heart always does, true to the soul it calls to us beckons to you . Surely it will never go away instead attract the attention of the other person who in turn follows the call of obedience to the other half of the heart found once more.
     Together as one heart attracts to the sun and moon light. Like a magnet does it will alone and then put us together again. Lead us naught to a dry dessert yet to the waterfall and then swim delighted in each other's eyes.

Olive dressed to play horse shoes this evening. She put on a jean skirt and a light pink three quarter length sleeve blouse, black flip flops on her feet. Her pretty hair up in a bun and a white scarf tied around her head. In her village the ladies her age could wear a light amount of makeup. She did so Avon her favorite she sold it . Next she decided between two purses a black knitted one off the shoulder, or a patch quilt off the shoulders. She finally chose black one, then stuffed her personal belongings inside. Then headed downstairs to join Ma'am and Daed Miller.
   Andrew Miller dated Sara Yoder, he is Fanny and Mr. Miller's son. Olive is going to be along with Joshua Hershberger. They grew up in the same town. Such fond memories lay here. And besides that, you can join church and fun things to encounter.
       The night would be planned with fun things to do, making sure no boring spots were all kept busy. Leaving from their apartment complex on the same property as DeeAnn and Al's farm spread is. And since they all worked together on the farm.
    Olive sits next to Joshua unknown to her who'd be here date today. He was so handsome, with light blue eyes, hair the color of sand blonde, dimple I'm his chin. An infectious laugh so unforgettable his for sure she'd make note of it forever.
       Looking across at her thinking such a beauty of a gal to beholden too. She in turn smiled back at him, inside herself feelings of butterflies in her tummy the gut kind. The reason why the first time in her life had she met anyone that had that effect on her.
       The black Amish buggy bus clipped down the dirt road today they'd be using the buggy pulled by two big brown stock horses. Such a lovely sunny day outside, with a slight breeze blowing. Sounds of horses' hooves clippity clopping going down the road.
     The couples are glad to be out together. Singing songs of old written by Amish brethren. Anna sang her heart out, and they all did " Gather at the River to pray." Such fun to sing to. Outside sunny a slight breeze, and hot.
Up ahead the farmstead that has horseshoes. Outside the parking lot full of cars, all there to play horseshoes.
      All of them got out to take up a horse shoe spot. Anna wrote her name on a card placed in a card spot on a steak . When leaving removing it ripped up to dispose in the garage can.
     They made teams guys against gals. Sarah Yoder threw first, Ching almost made it around the winner of the flip throws horse shoes one at a time - at the opposite stake , and then the second player throws both their horse shoes one at a time - at their end. After scoring , the next round is done in reverse, or by throwing back the same steak.( Directions taken off horse shoe instructions from package directions. )
   After playing an hour it felt right because you are loosened up to be ready to go . Laughter heard amongst Ching a real heavy horse shoe hitting a stake making a dead ringer.
Sarah pitched her horse shoe , Ching , Andrews went on top Ching. Suddenly they both laughed and said it was so fun to actually play. And being you play against one another.
Andrew looked at Sarah differently from the perspective of a potential Girlfreind. She was pretty as all get out actually and a bit spunky yet shy at the same time.
      He threw another horseshoe," Yeah," Andrew hollered he'd won. Joshua yelled he'd whip him next time wait and see." Olive looked on as pretty as ever and Joshua knew it and winked over at her. She in turn smiled blushing. For in her heart, she felt truly in love a crush on Joshua.
       Anna and Jon had made progress in their newly started relationship. Since Jons's wife died he has been looking for the love of his life
Anna happened to fit his likes of a special woman. And with God's help, a heartfelt relationship would start like his parents have.
