Jason's pov

His sister?! This is a game changer. I don't know how he feels about me dating his sister. No wonder he was so nervous. "Uh, so what are we doing about this?" I ask, extremely awkward. "I'm not in charge of her or you. It's just a little weird." He says. Phew, I was afraid he'd say I couldn't date her. "Why didn't ya tell me ya had such an awesome sister?" I gasp. He glares at me. "I haven't talked to them since I moved to Nashville." He mutters. He hasn't talked to his family in 10 years!? Even I keep in touch with my family back in Macon. "Oh speak of the devil." He mutters, looking behind me. Of course it's my girlfriend and his sister. "Nice to see you too big brother." She says, pissed off. "I'm not here to see you, I'm here to hang out with my boyfriend." "Dies mom know you have a "boyfriend?"" He asks, using quotations on the word boyfriend! God he's starting to really tick me off. She blushes and shakes her head. "I don't have to. You didn't tell us what you were doing with your life? So why should I?" She snaps, walking away. "Smooth, dude, real freaking smooth." I grumble, chasing after her. I fall into step beside her. "Is it possible to hate your family?" She asks. "You don't hate Tully. Come on deep down you still care about him." I say. "He makes me so mad." She mutters furious. We walk back to my truck. "If I knew he was your brother, I woulda told ya he was my bassist." I say, opening the door for her. "It's not your fault." She says, laying back. Her peppy energized self is gone. I drive to her house. "Hey, ya wanna come watch me train?" She asks, after getting out. "Sure, where is it?" I say, glad she's back to being happy. "The old school over on highway 9. The abandoned one. I use the track field there." She says, casually. She must not have heard the stories. That place is said to be haunted. I've always wanted to have an excuse to check it out. "Totally, I'll be there." I say, tilting my hat. "Yay, I can't wait!" She says, excited. I smile and watch her head to her house. "Ooh wait, I almost forgot." She says, running back over to me and kissing me.

*the next day*

Miranda's pov

Yay, I'll finally have someone to cheer me on. Maybe after, we can go on a real date. I set the timer on my stopwatch. I'm about to start running when I hear his truck. Yes!! He's here. Man I've got a serious love obsession with this guy. I'm glad he feels the same way. I run over. "I'm glad you're here." I say. He smiles. "Me too honey. I can't wait to see what ya got." He says, walking back with me.

She's super excited for this. I don't know what's so exciting about running but I'll see. She presses a button and a ton of hurdles come up out of the ground. "Whoa!" I gape. I didn't know that could happen. She winks at me and starts her training. I have never seen a girl run so fast. She'll make the Olympics for sure.

When I take a break, he's staring at me, his jaw dropped. I laugh. "Close your mouth, you'll catch flies." I joke. He finally regains his senses. "Damn girl, that was awesome!" He exclaims, making me laugh again. "I'm not that good." I say, waving my hand. "Trust me darlin' you are that good." He says. He holds my hand and we walk in the direction of the old school. "What are we doing?" I ask. "I've always wanted to check this place out." He says, "supposedly it's haunted." I roll my eyes. "You don't believe in that crap, do you?" I scoff. "Oh of course, I believe in ghosts and have always wanted to catch evidence of them." He replies, pulling out a screwdriver. He tries to pick the lock. I grab his arm. "Jason, this is breaking and entering. It's illegal." I hiss, glancing around even though no one is around. "No, babe, this place is abandoned. No one cares. There isn't anything to steal so they won't be mad." He says, getting the door open. "Got it." He says, swinging it open with a loud creak. He turns on a flashlight, illuminating the otherwise pitch black hallway. "It's so creepy. I've never been in an abandoned school before." I whisper, keeping close to him. He doesn't seem scared at all. We walk in the first door on our left. It looks like a kindergarten classroom. Crayons litter the floor with a heavy coat of dust on everything. Old poorly drawn pictures hang on the walls. "Ooh, creepy!" I gasp, shivering. He smiles. "You aren't afraid, are ya?" He asks, looking down at me. "No it's just spooky." I say. He grabs me quickly making me squeak. He laughs and I glare at him. Then we hear a loud thump. "What was that?!" I cry, holding tight to his hand. "Who knows, probably an animal." He says, then puts the light to his face. "Or maybe it's a ghost." He says, teasingly. The room we're in now has no windows. He suddenly flicks the flashlight off, plunging us into darkness. I scream in surprise. I gear another heavy thump as if someone is dropping heavy bags of flour on the floor. "You better not be pulling some prank on me!" I snap, annoyed. "It isn't me." He says with a soft chuckle. Then arms are on my waist. I'm guessing there his arms but I can't see anything. "Now, this, this is me." He whispers, kissing me softly. I hold in a scream as he grabs my butt and picks me up. His hands go up under my shirt, gripping my shoulder blades tightly. "Can you turn the light back on. It's too dark." I say, wrapping my legs around his waist as we kiss.

I flick the light back on and standing behind my girlfriend is a little girl making me scream in surprise. I accidentally drop her. "What the hell, Jason?!" She gripes. I help her up. The girl's gone. "That was freaky." I say. "What was?" She asks. "There was a little girl in the doorway." I stutter, still freaked out. "Whatever, Jason, stop trying to scare me." She mutters, crossing her arms. "No baby, really there was a girl! Or maybe it was a ghost! Oh my gosh I actually saw a ghost!" I cry, excitedly. She smiles. I push the thought out of my head and go back to kissing my girl. We both jump though when we hear a little kid's voice yell, "GET OUT!!" "Wh-what was that?!" She whimpers, looking right at me, terrified. Man she really is afraid of this stuff. "I-I don't know." I say, looking around. "Can we go now!?" She begs. I sigh. "Okay, let's go." I mumble, grabbing the flashlight. We walk out the door. I leave it unlocked and slightly open so we can come back later. As soon as I walk out though, it slams shut and locks behind me, making us both nearly jump out of our skins. Then a high pitched voice yells, "AND DON'T COME BACK!" I grab her hand and run through the foggy night to my truck. We peel out of there as fast as I can.
