Tully's pov
I get a call from my wife's brother. "Uh, I need you not to be mad about this." He says. "What's going on?" I ask. "I can't tell it over the phone." He says. He tells me to come over so I'm on my way to his house, fear seeping into me. He stands on the porch with a smile on his face but he looks worried. "Where's my sister?" I ask. "Inside. We weren't sure how you'd take this-" "Take what?!" I interrupt. "Your sister, she's pregnant." He says. My jaw drops and I try not to get ticked off.
Jason's pov
He looks like he wants to punch my lights out. "Now man, don't get mad. Remember what I said. She's an adult now. She can make her own decisions." I say, backing up. He balls his fists. "Tully c-calm down!" I gasp. He grabs my shirt collar. "She's too young for this. Her training is going to be thrown down the toilet!" He yells. "No it ain't!" I shout, pulling his hands off me. "Was I pissed off when you got Kasi pregnant?" I yell. "We were on our third year of marriage before we even tried to get pregnant!" He shouts, "You aren't even married yet!" "I just don't have to try as hard as you." I say. Probably not the smartest thing to say seeing as how he wants to kill me but it just popped in my head. He rears his fist back about to punch me. She suddenly runs out and stands in front of me as he swings his fist realizing too late that she was standing there. He knocks her to the ground. I help her up and now I'm the one wanting to kill Tully. "I cannot believe you just did that!" I scream. "Th-that was meant for y-you! I didn't see her until it was too late." He cries, backing off the porch.
Tully's pov
He's focused his death stare on me. I just punched my pregnant 28 year old sister in the face. I back away running horrified to my truck and flooring it the hell out of there.
Miranda's pov
I wake up on the couch with Jason sitting with my head in his lap and an ice pack in his hand. "How's your eye?" He asks. Tully gave me a black eye. "Not nearly as bad as my heart." I whisper, a tear slips down my cheek. He puts the ice pack over my eye again. "How long was I unconscious for?" I ask. "Only a few hours. When I get my hands on Tully, man he's gonna wish he was never born." He says. "I already do wish that." I say. "Wish what?" He asks. "I wish Tully was never born." I say. He sighs and kisses my lips.
*the next day*
"I'm gonna go see if Tully is calmed down!" I call as Jason gets out of the shower. "Who?" He asks. "Tully." I say, guessing he didn't hear me from the water. He gives me a questioning look. "Who's that babe?" He asks. "My brother. Your bassist and married to your sister." I say super confused. "Uh, honey did you hit your head or something. Since when did you have a brother? And my sister isn't married. And you know my bassist is Dee Jay." He says, staring at me looking worried. What the hell is going on here?! He feels my forehead. "Baby are you feeling okay?" He asks. I shake my head and stumble to the sink. I look in the mirror. The black eye is gone. "What's going on here?" I whimper. He hugs me. "You're just confused. How about ya take a nap and we'll talk when you wake up." He says, gently caressing my cheek. "But what about Tully?" I whimper. "I don't know who you're talking about but all this worryin' ain't good for the baby." He says, guiding me to the bed. I lay down and he kisses my forehead. "I love you honey." He says. "Love you too." I say, terrified.
