NICHOLAS' POV......
BERLIN TEACHING HOSPITAL.....
They're probably done. I thought as I saw the female doctor step out of the ward.
"How is she?". I asked nervously.
if anything happened to her I'll make sure I put Elijah behind bars wether Sam likes it or not.
"You don't need to worry too much, she only had a broken rib, her other minor injuries have been treated, she'll be fine if she takes good care of herself and takes her medications you can go see her if you want".
"Thank you ". I nodded and walked behind her, when I got into the room, Samantha was sitting on the bed, she was wearing a hospital gown
I hated the fact that that scumbag put her through this and is living his best life out there.
"You should rest". I said walking towards her, when she realized my presence, she stood up and hugged me.
Two hugs in one day, not bad, it means she no longer feels uncomfortable around me. I hugged her back patting her head.
"I hate the hospital". She said hugging me tightly. "We'll leave soon don't worry". I consoled her enjoying the feeling, but then she let go and looked at me as if she was thinking.
"C-can I stay in your house for a while?....... I promise I don't have any bad intentions, I suspected you before- I'm sorry, I just don't have any friends or relatives to go to
My brother lives with a friend and I can't bother them with my problems..... I'll continue working for you, I just need to save up enough to be able to afford a new place-".
"Don't worry you can stay as long as you want, even if you don't want to get a new place......
Mum and Becky should be back by now, I didn't tell them about this so they don't ask any questions that might make you uncomfortable,
Although I'm not sure if you will be able to keep it from them, do you want to stay in a hotel for a few days?".
I asked. she shouldn't agree, I want to see her everytime.
"No, I'm okay".good.
I held her chin and examined the bruises she had on her face, there was only one bandage on her head, that should be fine.
I examined her face some more, we locked eyes, I almost got carried away in the silence around us, my eyes traveled to her lips, they were a bit dry but I don't mind.
Kiss her....Nick, kiss her-No.
I removed my hand and looked away.*clears throat...
I stood up and headed for the door.
"Where are you going?". That small but calm voice asked.
Well darling if you must know, if I stay here.... alone with you, I might not be able to tell you sorry for what I will do .....
you've gone through a lot already, it's wrong for me to think this but I can't distract myself from the fact that you look extremely vulnerable right now.
"To get you discharged". I replied without turning to look at her, then I left without waiting for a response....
SAMANTHA'S POV .....
I got discharged and followed Nicholas home, I guess this is my new life......a life forgetting that I once had someone who I called a boyfriend.
I looked down at my fingers sadly, playing with them.... although he was with me just as a title, it still hurts now that I'm lonely....
