FOUR YEARS LATER
SAMANTHA'S POV......
"Aunt Becky! Aunt Lia!". I heard Rui scream excitedly from the living room.
Living room? Didn't I just put her to bed?- in HER room?!.
I wiped my hands and came out of the kitchen only to find my 3year old daughter eating chips.
Examining the rest of the room I found the culprits; Becky and Lia.
How dare they feed Rui chips without my permission - okay so the little curse Becky laid on my daughter years ago worked because Rui right here is a hardcore lover of chips.
She loves chips even more than Becky does, so me and Nick decided to give her a little break.
I'm back at my old apartment- where me and Gabe used to live that's why this two could just enter whenever they liked.
"Rui, I told you no more chips." I scolded and took the bag from her hand.
She pouted and folded her hands in disapproval but I wouldn't fall for her pitiful blue eyes- not anymore.
Seeing I wasn't going to budge, she looked at her aunties for help, filling her eyes with fake tears...
She was doing fine previously so why is she acting up.
"Whatever you do, you're still not having any-".
"Come on Sam, don't be like that, she's just a child, I get it that you don't want her to turn out like someone -no offense but you should try to adjust sometimes
Just this once".
When she finished, Lia picked Rui up and took the bag of chips from me,
the mischievous little being guarded safely in the arms of Lia immediately snatched the bag and began stuffing her mouth with chips.
She pretends even better than Becky, which character did she take from me exactly.
"Why did you come?". I asked.
The two women smiled at each other before looking back at me.
Am I getting deja Vu? It's like I've seen that smile before.
"We have good news". Lia said excitedly and put Rui down.
"Is daddy coming soon?". The little confused lady asked from beneath us.
I squatted and fondled her hair. "Your daddy travelled to act a movie in a very far place, so it might take him a while to return
That's why we're here in your uncle's house till daddy gets back, although I haven't even seen the guy for the past three days we've been here, but I'm sure he'll come soon
Why don't you take your chips and go play, I'll call you when lunch is ready".
"Okay!". Aaaaand she vanished. Those tiny legs can move at such great speed.
I smiled and stood up.
"What's the news". Becky brought out a beautifully decorated card from her bag while Lia handed a brown envelope to me.
I opened the envelope and saw the sonogram of a baby and the card was a wedding invitation.
Hold on...
"I'm pregnant!" Lia screamed excitedly.
"And I'm getting married!". Becky added, I was still processing and then I screamed excitedly and hugged both of them jumping up and down like a frog.
