Phoenix Drop, Dragon Continent
What had started as an accident with a dust heater was now snowballing into a nightmare. A large fire was engulfing two houses as a number of villagers in a bucket line tried to contain it and stop its spread. To the side two more villagers were with a large hose pouring water onto the fire. While the fire itself wasn't dangerous since the villagers were planning to leave, it did start to attract the grim.
Currently Adam and Blake were with most of the Fang members on the edges of the village holding back the handful of Beowolves the fire had attracted. The villagers with any combat experience were helping them here and there with what weapons they had.
Meanwhile the newly arrived Sienna was overseeing the loading of families onto the few trucks she had secured. It was slow going as people realized there wasn't enough room for them all. Sienna was keeping order to the best of her ability as some villagers were arguing with her about who gets to leave first.
Their argument would be interrupted as one of the Fang members screamed out.
"Death Stalker!"
Sienna and the villagers all turned to see the large scorpion Grimm throwing two Fang members flying through the air. It wasn't alone though. A few Ursa's and more Beowolves were beginning to pour out from the forest. With the appearance of more Grimm villagers began getting more scared, which in turn attracted the Grimm to them and drove them harder.
The Fang members and the few Villagers were quickly getting spread thin. Sienna joined with her two scimitars and focused on protecting the trucks. Blake and Adam teamed up and focused on the Death Stalker, but with them busy an Ursa and some Beowolves slipped into the village proper. Villagers ran about as panic began to break out.
Sienna, when she realized the village was about to be swarmed, grabbed one of the Fang members and made a decision.
"Get who you can on the Trucks, we leave now! Prioritize Faunus families firs-"
She stopped as the sound of aircraft throbbed in the air. She and a few others looked up in surprise as a Huey flew overhead and began to circle the village. It was soon joined by more as the figures inside looked down at the carnage.
Sienna was surprised and confused. She couldn't recognize those bullheads as any she knew about, nor did the markings on their sides match that of any Kingdom or City. She returned her focus and helped cut down a Beowulf that tried to attack her while she was distracted.
Above the burning village Captain Miller was looking down at the carnage and got on his radio.
"Hummingbird 1 to Citadel, come in Citadel."
Fort Elysium, Dragon Continent.
Inside the command center of the fort was a large operations room. In the center sat a large table with a map of what they knew of this world. Surrounding the table were dozens of control and communication stations with computers and electronic equipment. At the table itself were General Bazarain with Colonels Marchaud and Bannon. All were listening as the radio with Hummingbird 1 was put on the speakers.
"Hummingbird 1 to Citadel, Come in Citadel."
One of the operators responded.
"This is Citadel Hummingbird, What is your status?"
"We are currently circling the burning village. It seems there are 2 buildings on fire with a dozen others surrounding them. I'm seeing lots of Nightmares fighting the inhabitants with a handful of them rampaging through the village itself."
