Now that she is out of here, there is complete silence.

I didn't intend to come here while she was taking a bath.

I swear I didn't know until I stepped into the water and felt a presence.

She was under the water for so long.

How can a normal person do that?

Then again, she is not normal. I could see it in her eyes, the way she sees me.

The way she is analysing every situation.

It's hard to notice. It's very hard, but it's there.

And the way she always carries a dagger around with her.

About last night, I understand but while taking a bath? Who does that?

Is she that scared?

I've had two encounters with her in total and in both situations, either one of us has had a knife against their throats.

But she didn't even have any reaction to the knife against her neck yesterday.
Maybe a little shocked, just maybe.

And today, those eyes weren't scared.

I know she isn't princess Avantika.

I have seen her.

I'm not stupid. I wouldn't just marry anyone without any preparation.

I went to the Vyaghra a few months ago just to investigate a little and there, after sneaking into the palace, I saw the princess.

For a second I had thought, maybe it was her but no, I don't forget a face when I see it even though I only saw her face partially.

That was all I could see given the shortage of time I had.

And today confirms it.

She just cannot be the Princess.

She has a black half-moon inked just below her collarbone on the extreme left.

Normally it wouldn't be visible under the clothing but today, in the water, her clothes were almost sheer.

Princesses are not allowed to get anything like that on their bodies.

I wanted to burn the Vyaghra King then and there for deceiving us but I also wanted to know what exactly he was plotting.

So I went along with it.

I wasn't planning to be hostile towards the princess after we got married.

I had accepted the alliance and this treaty.

But when I found that he was plotting something, I just couldn't help it.

Whenever I look at her, I get reminded of the deception of the Vyaghra.

Whenever I look at her, I just want to tie her up and get everything out of her.

Whenever I look at her, I can't help but notice her beautiful eyes that hold so much more than I can see, which look at me blankly.

Whenever I look at her, I see those sharp deep brown eyes which lighten in the sun and elevate her beauty.

Her full cherry lips, that move ever so slightly that I can't help but want to grab in between mine.

Her divine body, thick hips and strong arms.

When I grabbed her wrists, I had to use more strength than needed to hold down a lady.

She is really strong.

It was really fun teasing her.

I've never had so much delight before.

The few words that she said to me are still audible to me.

Her slight slip-ups in her expression and fast recovery from them.

One would say I am too observant, which I am.

Her wet clothes were barely covering her as she got out of the water.

I tried hard to look away but my body was not listening to my mind anymore.

She quickly wrapped her towel around her and Thank Havens! She got out on time, I don't know what I would have done.

My hate for her is far more than any physical attraction.

That's what it is, just physical attraction.

She is not worthy of getting even that from me.

Who is she exactly?

Did Vyaghra Raj switch the princess and her just because he didn't want her daughter to be married to the rival Kingdom or is it something else?

Something more complicated?

Only one way to find out.

If I noticed her features, I could see her looking at me too.

I clapped twice to call a maid inside.

"Your Highness." She bowed.

"Shift the crown princess's stuff to my room. We'll be staying in the same room."

I like to keep my enemies close to me.

I want to monitor her every move that I can.

It'll be interesting.

I went into my room and Navita was not there.

I told her to be in it whenever I wasn't!

Where is she?

I called for her and she came running.

"Your Highness."

"Navita, I told you to be in my room when I am not there, didn't I? Where were you?"

"B-but my lady, this is the crown prince's room, how can I ?"

Oh, so this was his room then.

"Alright, so take me to my room."
I began to walk towards the door when she interrupted me.

"M-my lady! This is also your room."
