Two years had flown by since their magical Disneyland adventure. Life had been busy, but full of joy and new memories. Austin’s acting career was thriving, and he had just finished shooting his latest film, *The Bikeriders*. The film was highly anticipated, and he was about to embark on an extensive six-month press tour to promote it around the world.
Despite the excitement of the tour, Austin found it hard to be away from his family. He missed Ashley, Jack, and especially little Jacstin. They had all become so close, and he cherished the time they spent together.
Determined to stay connected, Austin made sure to video call them whenever he could, no matter the time zone. These calls became a lifeline, helping him cope with the distance and stay updated on their lives.
One sunny afternoon in Paris, after a long day of interviews and photo shoots, Austin finally had a moment to himself. He quickly set up a video call with Ashley, eager to see her face and hear her voice.
“Hey, Ash!” Austin greeted her, his face lighting up as her image appeared on the screen.
“Hey, Austin! How’s Paris treating you?” Ashley replied, her smile warm and welcoming.
“It’s great, but I miss you guys so much,” Austin admitted. “How’s everything at home?”
Before Ashley could answer, Jacstin toddled into view, clutching his favorite stuffed animal. He looked at the screen, his eyes widening in recognition. “Tintin!” he exclaimed, pointing directly at the camera.
Austin’s heart melted. “Did he just call me Tintin?” he asked, his voice filled with delight.
Ashley laughed, nodding. “Yeah, he started saying that a few days ago. I think it’s his cute little way of trying to say Austin.”
“Tintin,” Jacstin repeated, his tiny finger still pointing at Austin, a big smile on his face.
Austin’s eyes glistened with tears of happiness. “Hey there, buddy! Tintin misses you so much.”
Jacstin giggled, clearly pleased with his new nickname for his uncle. Ashley’s heart swelled as she watched the interaction. Despite the miles between them, the bond they shared remained strong.
“Tintin, Tintin!” Jacstin chanted, clapping his hands.
Austin laughed, feeling a warmth spread through him. “I love you, Jacstin. I’ll be home soon, I promise.”
They continued to chat, sharing stories and updates. Ashley told Austin about Jacstin’s latest antics and how much he had grown. They talked about Jack’s new job and the fun weekend trips they had taken. Austin shared some of his experiences on the press tour, describing the cities he had visited and the people he had met.
As the call came to an end, Austin felt a renewed sense of energy and purpose. He knew that no matter how far he traveled, his family was always with him, supporting him and keeping him grounded.
“I’ll call you again tomorrow,” Austin promised. “Give my love to Jack and Jacstin.”
“We will. Take care, Austin. We’re so proud of you,” Ashley replied, blowing him a kiss.
Austin blew a kiss back, smiling as the call ended. He sat back, his heart full. The nickname “Tintin” was a sweet reminder of the love waiting for him at home.
As the press tour continued, Austin carried that love with him, a beacon of light guiding him through the whirlwind of interviews, premieres, and travels. And each time he heard Jacstin’s joyful voice calling out “Tintin” during their video calls, he was reminded of what truly mattered.
No matter where his career took him, his family was his anchor, and their bond was unbreakable.
