Babysitting Adventures

Austin and Lizzy were thrilled when Ashley and Jack asked them to babysit Jacstin for the evening. It had been a long overdue date night for the couple, and Austin and Lizzy were more than happy to spend some quality time with their adorable nephew.
As soon as Ashley and Jack left, Jacstin, with his boundless energy, immediately took center stage. Austin and Lizzy spent the early part of the evening chasing Jacstin around the house, playing games, and making silly faces to elicit his infectious giggles.
After dinner, they decided it was time to settle down. Austin put on Jacstin’s favorite movie, and the three of them snuggled on the couch, Jacstin nestled comfortably between Austin and Lizzy. As the movie played, Austin looked over at Lizzy, a soft smile playing on his lips.
"You know," Austin began, his voice low so as not to disturb Jacstin, "I’ve been thinking a lot about the future."
Lizzy turned to him, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Oh yeah? What about?"
Austin took a deep breath. "About us. About what our future together might look like. Especially with kids."
Lizzy’s heart fluttered at his words. "I’ve been thinking about that too," she admitted. "Being with Jacstin tonight, it’s made me realize how much I want that. A family with you."
Austin’s smile widened. "I feel the same way. I can see us with a little one of our own someday. It’s exciting to think about."
They spent the rest of the evening discussing their dreams and aspirations, growing closer with each shared hope and vision of their future together. By the time Jacstin was asleep and Ashley and Jack had returned home, Austin and Lizzy were buzzing with excitement about the possibilities that lay ahead.
A few weeks later, Lizzy woke up feeling a bit off. She decided to go to the doctor for a routine check-up, just to make sure everything was alright. Sitting in the examination room, she never expected to hear the news that the doctor delivered.
"Congratulations, Lizzy," the doctor said, a warm smile on her face. "You’re pregnant."
Lizzy’s heart soared with joy and excitement. She could hardly wait to share the news with Austin. She left the doctor’s office, her mind racing with how she would tell him. This was the start of an incredible new chapter in their lives, and she couldn't wait to see the look on Austin’s face when he found out.
As she drove home, Lizzy felt an overwhelming sense of happiness and anticipation. Their future was unfolding most beautifully, and she was eager to embark on this new journey with Austin by her side.
