The Club

As she was about to get ready, she got a text from Marcus. "Sorry, something urgent came up. Can't make it. I've to go and investigate a night club."

She facepalmed herself. She didn't know what had gotten into her, she replied to his text saying, "I'll meet you there. Time?"

"No. I'll be undercover. Can't risk having you there."

"Jesus, I'll make it look casual. Same 9 p.m.?"

"11 p.m. Club Rio."

Now, all she had to do is get dressed up as though she is going to club. But without Lalo's men noticing her. She quickly changed her innerwear to one of the most sexy ones she had, a red underwire. She skimmed for a club worthy dress. She didn't have much choices as she'd only brought over a few clothes. She took the lightest dress she had. A golden knee length shimmer dress with a plunging neckline. She stuffed it into her handbag and wore a regular dress and pumps and headed out.

She opted for an open hair and light makeup. She didn't want to attract any attention from the guards. She stepped out and saw Lalo's Monte Carlo in the garage. She got the keys to it and took it out. Lalo wouldn't mind. She'll just say that it was an urgent crisis at the event location or something. The guards didn't care much. They nodded as she passed the gate.

She parked her car at a nearby underground parking. Since no one was around, she quickly change her dress in the car. Adjusted her hair and left the parking. As she entered the club's parking lot in the vintage beauty, she turned a lot of eyes. Gew guys at the entrance were gaping at her. Or maybe her dress. Either way, she wasn't bothered at all.

She went to the door, where a bouncer was checking off names in a list. She was wondering how she'd get through. Suddenly someone tapped her shoulders. She turned to find Marcus. Oh thank the Gods. He looked at her, quite stunned by how she looked.

"Umm... you know, you should slide the straps to the sides. Reveal a lot more. It'll help us. And um... wait" Marcus ran to a girl behind the line and came back with a lipstick.

"Is that absolutely necessary? I don't want to come off as a slut, Marcus!"

Marcus chuckled. "You want to get through? Better ensure the bouncer wants someone like you inside his club, not outside."

She gritted her teeth and took the lipstick and colored her lips, adjusted the straps as he'd said. Marcus was drooling off the edge of his mouth. Ana was always an amazing woman. Kind and compassionate, filled with all good things. But she was also equally good in bed. Marcus' mind went back to their courting days and their honeymoon. He noticed his cock becoming hard at those thoughts.

His feelings for her had never changed. One stupid mistake from his side, brought down everything they had tried to build. It pained him to see her heart break and their marriage crumble to pieces. But he had to do what was right for the baby. He had never loved any other woman they way he loved Ana Theresa. And when his relationship with Ellie ended, he was more than relieved to get out of the nightmare.

Ana felt extremely uncomfortable with the dress now. It was something she only wore to events that required the host to show off. Which mostly comprised of fiestas thrown by gays. She didn't mind it with that crowd. But she did mind it here. Especially with her ex-husband next to her, starring at her bodycon dress.

They got through the entrance with ease. All Ana had to do was wink at the guy, which again was Marcus' idea. She had never been to a club her entire life and didn't know the ABCs of night life. So it was easy for Marcus to mess with her. Mentally, he had a good laugh.

Once inside, he had a couple of beers. She had diet coke. They found a secluded table and sat there. Marcus' attention was somewhere else. In frustration, she pulled his face to face her. Their eyes met, as old memories flashed before them. Ana quickly blushed and turned away.
