As per the instructions, Nacho had to flee the country. Gus' men had arranged for Nacho to be hidden in a small hotel in one of the towns neighbouring the border. He knew that Lalo's cousins would come after him and make an attempt on his life. As per the word, Nacho was the one who got their cousin killed. Though Mike and team had plans to keep Nacho safe and under surveillance, they simultaneously had plans to get him caught.

Mike paid a visit to Nacho's house and implanted details of Nacho's current whereabouts in his safe. He was a hundred percent sure that this is the first place the Salamanca men would raid. And raid they did. The cousins now had a lead.

It was all planned to make it believable. None of Gus' men should get a doubt. And the script written by Lalo beautifully played out in the small town as Nacho and the twins engaged in a gunfire battle. Nacho got a couple of bullets on him along with few cuts and bruises. After all, he was going to have to sell his escape story to Gustavo Fring. The emotionless cousins watched their "target" get away in a car.

Later, hidden in an oil tanker, Nacho was able to successfully cross the border and be rescued by none other than Mike Ehrmantraut himself. All he had to do now was take down the spectacled businessman.

On the other end of things, Lalo had successfully arranged a body dupe. It was one of the guys in his farm, Mateo Ramos, whom Lalo had killed along with his wife to use his body. It was all planned years before. After all, as a Salamanca, one had to ensure the safely and survival of the family name amidst all the attempts on their lives. Each member of the Salamanca family had one too many body doubles. Lalo was no exception. In fact, Lalo had even paid for Mateo's dental works in the past, secretly ensuring that Mateo's dental records matched Lalo's, in case he needed it.

A disguised Lalo was headed towards a location near the border which was well known to smuggle humans across the border. Lalo jumped out the pickup truck and headed towards a couple of traffickers who wear loading the undocumented immigrants in a vehicle.

Something nagged Lalo inside. He knew that the world believed him to be dead. He knew it was a difficult price to pay to ensure his family's safety. But he gave in to his urge and decided to call Tío Hector at Casa Tranquila. His Tío was happy to know that his cunning little princeling had evaded the Chicken Man's attacks.

Lalo let his uncle know about his current actions. But Hector adviced against it. He instructed his nephew to get proof before taking another step. Lalo too agreed and decided to head back.

He informed the traffickers that he couldn't make it and requested a refund. One of the guys refused to hand over the money to Lalo and disrespected Lalo.

"I told you, be nice." Lalo calmly spoke.

The big mouthed guy walked towards Lalo with a gun. Nobody witnessed what happened next. All that the immigrants heard were multiple gunshots being fired. A couple of them peeped outside, only to find two dead bodies while Lalo drove off in the truck belonging to the dead duo.

Ana visited the partially burned down hacienda. Her heart sank to the deepest pit upon the sight she witnessed. It was like her dreams came crashing down. This was supposed to become their home. A place for them to experience a new life. A place for their children to be raised. But now, all that remained were charred bricks and ashes.

Tears swelled. The sight of the local police carrying the bodies of the deceased made her uncomfortable. But then something caught her eye. It was the burnt body of Mateo. The features were strikingly similar to that of Lalo's. She knew what she had to do.

Ana moved towards the body and began sobbing loudly before fake fainting. A couple of policemen caught her and took her away from the crime scene. Her job in Mexico was now done. Salamanca eyes and Fring's eyes had seen what had unfolded. She was safe for now. All She had to do was to stay till Mateo's burial and then return to the U.S.

She just hoped that her brother and her betrothed were safe. It was a dangerous mission that they had set into. She had lost her peace of mind.
