Jane

"Alpha Xander, Jane here is not as innocent as you think. She is just like her mom," Ethan spat out.

My mum was never evil. My dad rejected and left my mum for Luna Cassie because that was the only way he could take over the Pack from Luna Cassie's father, Alpha Lox. Alpha Lox had no son. The condition was he was going to leave my mum and his former Pack and for him to bring me along, I was going to be nothing but a slave in this Pack, the Silver Moon Pack. But, he had hated my mum and I never knew the reason.

"How?"

"Jane has tried to kill Alpha Shane, just like her mother had done in the past," Ethan snapped.

That was a lie. Why was he lying?

"I refuse to believe that. This young lady needs medical care, right now," Alpha Xander growled again.

"Please, Alpha, do not meddle in our family's matter," my father began to say.

"Why was I invited in the first place?" Alpha Xander questioned.

"We sent you a partnership deal, remember?" my Father said, quickly and I could see a small smile form in his lips.

"Why would I want to partner with such a Pack like yours? A Pack that can be so cruel and heartless towards a young and innocent Pack member, a family for that matter."

My father looked speechless, so did Beta Logan and Ethan.

"I will only consider the deal if this young lady gets medical treatment," Alpha Xander proposed.

My father and his Beta exchanged looks. "Even if she has sustained bruises, they can still heal with time," my father snapped.

"I see you are not ready for the deal," Alpha Xander said and dipped his hands into his pockets, then started walking away.

"Wait, Alpha Xander. I accept the proposal," my father spoke up, quickly.

Alpha Xander turned to look at him. "I want the best treatment for her."

My father nodded. "Consider it done."

"Call the Pack doctor over," Alpha Xander said, approaching me. He bent down and carried me in his hands. I screamed in pain. "I'm dying. My whole body hurts," I wanted to scream, but I didn't want Alpha Xander to question me about it. Neither did I want to give him a bad impression of my family.

"Where's her room?" He inquired.

I had no room. I would either sleep on the corridor or in the basement.

"Come with me," Beta Logan said, leading the way.

Where was he leading us to? To a room? They made it clear to me that there was no room that could accommodate me.

He opened a room door. "Here."

Alpha Xander carried me inside. He dropped me on the bed. I turned to the side. The pain I felt was too much that I wished I could just die.

"I'll be right back," Beta Logan said, and left the room.

"You need to change this ugly dress of yours. Where are your clothes?" Alpha Xander asked.

How could I possibly tell him I had no other clothes apart from the one I was wearing?

"I'm fine with the dress," I forced myself to say.

He looked at me, his eyes searching mine. "Is this the only dress you have?"

"I—"

"Jane," my stepsister, Freda yelled, as she banged open the door. "Have you washed my clothes? And what are you doing on that bed? And who's this man? I'm telling father that you are a whore—"
