Gumi stares out the window, watching the birds frolic. A bird she named Cindy observes two other birds, Sam and Jim trying to impress her with their dance battle. Jim was gracious enough to deliver food sometime earlier, but Sam has known Cindy for hours longer. As she ponders who to root for, the door opens, and you're carried into the nurse's office.

She smiles at your arrival, but it wavers upon noticing your unconscious form.
"W-What happened to her?" She asks the two figures carrying you.

"This one," the shorter points at her guilty-looking companion "can't aim his serves properly."

"Again, I didn't mean to hit them, I've never played badminton before! I've apologised a thousand times." he insists.

"And I don't believe it. It's not like you don't have a motive."

"W-What? What would that be?"

"Fear for your safety? Intimidation perhaps?"
"I'm not afraid of them! S-should I be? Y-You were looking at me earlier-"

"EXACTLY! Caught red-handed!"

"WHAT?"
"EVERYONE, please lower your voices." The nurse instructs, before pointing to your unconscious body. "Please move away from their bed, I need to examine the injury."

The duo nods, moving away and towards Gumi's bed.

"Not to be rude, but you didn't quite answer my question. And Teto, you...you can't gaslight someone into confessing a crime." She explains to the girl, who shakes her head.
"Fine....you may plead your case then, Kagamine." she concedes, crossing her arms.

He sighs as if he's already told this many times.

"I was in Phys Ed, and we were going to play badminton. I was testing how the racket and shuttle-thing worked when I hit it too hard, and it flew across the courts. It somehow hit them in the head, causing them to pass out. I felt bad and volunteered to carry them here. Teto saw me on my way here and insisted on helping out. I didn't mean to hurt them, I-I don't know anything about any of you!" he explains with panicked hand gestures. Teto rolls her eyes.
"That's what they all say..."

"I don't know, he seems to be telling the truth." Gumi smiles. "I forgive you, Len, and I'm sure they will too."

"Thanks," He smiles. "I'm glad someone here respects my efforts."

"I saw you drop them three times. Don't oversell yourself." Teto retorts.

"I-It's not easy carrying someone across a whole school, ok? Anyway, I'll head back. Let them know I apoligised when they wake up." He says, waving goodbye. Teto's about to say something when the door closes behind him. She sighs.

"You knock someone out and don't even wait for them? Rude." She grabs a chair and sits beside Gumi, crossing her legs.

"I don't blame him, I mean...I'd stay, but he's not obligated to. He doesn't know them that well," she says, adjusting her bow. "Speaking of staying ....don't you also have a class to attend? He made it seem like you weren't even in their class."

Teto falters, before looking at the nurse, who is examining the bruise on your forehead.

"I was heading back after washing my hands in the bathrooms. I may have a few enemies in home ec, and I wanted to get away," she explains, chuckling "Between you and me, I'd say most of the bruises are from dropping them down the stairwell."

"O-Oh..."
"Exactly. I don't see much point in him heading back now anyway, it's almost time for the third period, right?"
"I'm not sure, I can't read clocks very well."
"Oh, I thought you would, considering you, uh....tend to spend a lot of time in these places. How's your arm?"
