****2 YEARS LATER****
"ZEKAI COME HERE" I yell.
"NO ME NO WANT TO!" He runs around the living room.
I look over at Sev.
I was tired of chasing this little boy around.
"Kai stop messin' around and go see what ya momma want before I get up." He stares at him.
Zekai starts slowly walking over to me.
"I sorry mommy" He hugs me and starts crying.
I look up at sev again.
I appreciate him for getting him to listen but sometimes he gave off a look different than his tone.
"Don't cry baby..." I rub his back.
"No daddy scary!!" He wipes his eyes and looks at sev.
Sev gets up and walks over to us.
He squats down and looks at Zekai.
"I'm sorry, I did not mean to make you cry but you need to listen to mommy next time" He smiles.
"Otay..." Zekai nods.
Zephaniah comes in and looks around.
"Mommy..." He waits at the bottom of the steps.
I get up and leave Zekai with sev and walk over to him.
"Yes honey bear" I smile and pick him up.
"Mommy I thirsty" He looks at me.
"Okay well I'm gonna give you water because you and your brother need to drink water" I smile and carry him to the kitchen.
"Wayer?" He looks at me.
"Wa-Ter." I say it slower so he can comprehend.
"Waaater" He repeats.
He was so adorable.
My baby fever was satisfied.
I loved having my two little blessings running around here.
Keeping Sev busy.
I fill up two sippy cups full of water.
I hand one to Zephaniah and put him down.
"Here you gooooo" I smile.
"Tank you momma" He smiles and hugs me as he takes a sip of his water.
My heart melts in awe.
"You're welcome handsome." I smile.
I walk out the kitchen and come back to Zekai.
"Okay you need to put your shoes on sweetie pie" I pick him up and smile as I go to the couch where his shoes were.
"Shoes!" He says excitingly.
I laugh.
"Yeaaa shoesss" I smile.
Sev watches me from a distance and smiles.
I put Kais shoes on.
"alright now y'all can go outside and play" I let him off my lap.
They run outside out the backdoor and play on their playground.
I walk over to sev and watch them.
We both just stand there and watch.
"You feelin' old yet ma?" He chuckles and folds his arms.
