The shower did help calming you down but you couldn't stop your mind from dwelling to the humiliating event of the night. After the night you had you were so ready to just forget about it and sleep. Of course you wanted answers, but you also wanted to avoid facing the facts because you weren't ready for change, infact you didn't want anything to change. Life was good and you didn't want any complications. It's safe to say you were dreading the conversation you and Mei Mei were about to have when she showed up to yours and Miwa's bedroom with a smile that said business.
"Walk with me?" She said turning to leave not even giving you the option to say no even if you didn't want to. Miwa gave you a questioning yet concerned look to which you reassuringly smiled at.
You quickly rushed out the room, following after Mei Mei's faint footsteps. You caught up to her and started walking at her pace, huffing slightly from the distance you'd just covered.
She walks so fast...like damn.
Not knowing what to say, you just resorted to walking beside her, waiting for her to start but she didn't. The two of you walked with an oddly comforting and serene silence until she began,
"It wasn't a coincidence that I found you. Something drew me towards you and to this day I still can't explain why. It was the first time, I had done something with no ulterior motive." You tuned in on every single word she had to say, with an acutely poker face Mei Mei couldn't decipher. "You-
"Hold. On." you interrupted, "You telling me that what?, that I had a weirdo vibe to me since day one?"
Mei Mei smiled and chuckled lightly receiving a subtle glare from you, nothing about this situation was funny!
"In any case you are as much of a mystery to me as much as the next person.'' She said while looking at you with a solemn smile.
You sighed and stopped walking making Mei Mei stop and look at you, "What happens to me now?''
"For one, you will stay away from the alphas. Do not draw more attention to yourself, I do not have the time to clean up more messes. Time is money after all." She said to you as you tried not to feel attacked by her statement.
Before you could say anything she spoke up. "Stay away from the North wing, they will detect you. In fact, I'll give you two days off until the alphas leave.''
Now that was music to your ears, a day off. You couldn't remember the last time you took the time to enjoy yourself. So you perked up at the idea of slacking off for two days in a row doing nothing but pampering yourself. You mentally made a checklist of the things you could do like, go to the spa or go shopping for new butter scrubs and scented lotions, the choice was yours.
Mei Mei snapped her fingers, pulling you back to reality. You shook your head, refocusing on her, and asked her to repeat what she had just said. Her tone was stern as she restated your options: either stay in your room or head to town. There was no room for negotiation. You watched her closely, but your attention drifted, and most of her words became little more than a blur.
When the conversation ended, Mei Mei dismissed you, and you made your way back to your room. The moment you entered, Miwa peppered you with questions, her curiosity clearly piqued. You offered only a vague explanation, too tired—both physically and mentally—to go into detail.
Understanding your exhaustion, Miwa held back from pressing you further, though you knew she wouldn't let it go for long. You changed into your nightwear and tied your satin headscarf, eager to get into bed. Once under the covers, you noticed the candles still flickering, their warm glow filling the room. With a groan, you realized you'd forgotten to blow them out. In attempt to avoid moving, you turned to Miwa with a hopeful plea for her assistance..
"No''
"C'mon Miwa, please?'' you begged.
"No, you were the last one in bed, so you turn them off.'' she answered you with a sly grin, then she turned the other way and threw the blankets halfway up her head.
"Ugh...Fine'' you lazily got out of bed and blew out the candles all the while listening to Miwa's taunting giggles.
FINALLY IN BED!
You felt you whole body sink into the bed and shutting down. The bed was so warm that you instantly passed out.
"Y/N Y/N WAKE THE HELL UP'' somebody shaked you.
For fuck's sake!!
"What?!'' you sneered as you rubbed you eyes looking at the culprit. Miwa.
She better have a good fucking reason for waking me up like that.
"We aren't alone, someone's in here. I think I saw something moving on the floor.''
What. The. Actual. Fuck.
"Let me get this straight, you woke me up because you think someone is in here?!!'' you seethed.
"I know, I know. I sound paranoid but there is someone in here y/n, watching us .''
"Go to sleep Miwa.'' you said as you pulled your blanket to cover your body, pushing her off of your bed making her glare at you, but you couldn't care less. Miwa huffed and went back to her side of the room, burring herself in her blankets in a attempt to comfort herself.
After a while both you and your roommate were asleep, completely unaware of the eyes watching you.
"Have you found her yet?''
"Yes, I did'' the blue eyed alpha said with a smirk on his face.
"Good.''
