WESTON, EUDORA AND JULIETTE definitely had a very different childhood from Diego, but one thing they did have in common was Griddy's doughnuts. They spent most of their childhood in that place. Weird how they never ran into each other.

Now the four drunk friends (well minus Eudora, the poor babysitter.) were in Griddy's doughnuts sitting in a booth in the corner.

It was weird how the place was so quite nowadays, remembering how crowded it was before. Agnes's business was definitely effected over the years. But it didn't reduce the quality one bit.

Diego was Eudora had coffee, Eudora's black with honey, and Diego with a glass of iced caramel coffee.

Weston and Juliette were not surprisingly sipping their famous cold cocoa, occasionally dipping their chocolate glazed doughnuts in the chocolate milk.

Juliette or Weston almost stopped by getting their cold cocoa, Agnes was used to it by now, she would bring them the drink without being asked.

Diego sat there next to Juliette thinking of the times he snuck out with his siblings to conduct their monthly doughnut contest. "Whatchu thinking about?" Juliette asked, well, slurred while giggling.

One thing Diego learned about Juliette was that she was a giggling drunk, she wouldn't stop laughing after drinking, it was contagious and annoying. Diego loved it.

"I was thinking about the siblings." He answered honestly.

"Don't they have the same birthday as you? You should call them." Juliette told him as she leaned against the booth they were sitting on.

Diego chuckled, "why would I do that, they suck."

"But you still care about them." Juliette commented.

"What makes you think that?" He asked as he turned to face her, leaning on his side to look at her better.

Juliette once again chuckled, "don't think I don't see you checking in on them, you keep tabs on everyone, especially Klen? Kline?"

"Klaus?"

Juliette smiled, "Yes! Klaus, it's a nice name he has."

"If I don't check in on him, who will?" He muttered.

Juliette offered him some cold cocoa, the boy declined, which caused Juliette to roll her eyes, "who's your favourite sibling then?"

"They're all horrible, I hate everyone." he stated instead of answer, but he changed his answer when Juliette gave him a look, "Ben I guess. Klaus is alright too, don't tell him I said that."

"Call Ben then." She told him.

Diego shook his head, "he won't answer." he told her.

"Why not? He won't ghost you like that, I think. I don't know him, hopefully he doesn't."

Juliette probably made the best pun without realising, which made Diego laugh out loud, too loudly. "He probably would. Cause he is  a ghost, or maybe in afterlife? I don't know how dying work, Klaus is the best one to ask for that."

"I-- fuck." She whispered, "Sorry, I d--"

Diego continued to laugh, "It's alright, it's been a while, and it was funny. We used to come here, sneak out, all six of us and Five used to judge the doughnut eating contest, Ben and Klaus were the best contenders, I remember they used to eat until one of them puked. Klaus still managed to win after puking once, that was the fun we had... ever." Diego and Juliette were wheezing at the story now, laughing uncontrollably loud.

Meanwhile Eudora and a very sleepy Weston were fighting over the last doughnut. Which resulted in Agnes giving them a free one.

Birthday doughnuts were a success it was safe to say.

Now we watch The Hunger Games.

"I would totally survive and win there, and I'd be so rich, you would all be jealous." Diego commented.

Juliette scoffed, "If you didn't have your knife powers, or knives you would die rather soon. Maybe the third day."

"I'd say second." Eudora teased as she carefully placed a pillow under Weston's head who was fast asleep on Eudora's lap.

Weston probably dozed of even before Katniss volunteered as tribute. Which was fine because only Weston had read the books and he would definitely spoil it to the others by saying stuff like, "This wasn't in the books." or, "Let me tell you more about that scene, so--" and so on.

"Isn't he Thor's brother?" A much sober but tipsy Juliette asked.

Eudora squinted her eyes, deep in thought, "Oh yeah, Liam I think. Didn't he date Hannah Montana?"

"Oh yeah!" Juliette exclaimed, which disturbed Weston's sleep but didn't wake him up entirely.

Twenty minutes had passed and they clearly couldn't finish the movie even if they could, the group was way too tired for that, Eudora had almost fallen asleep as well.

Which caused Juliette to pause the movie, it wasn't like any one was watching anyways, Diego and Juliette had been conversing lowly time to time.

"What do you want to do in the morning?" she whispered.

"Finish the movie, so that you won't have to pay extra. I won't hear the end of it otherwise." he grinned.

Juliette lightly hit his shoulder, "it's your birthday, Wes is right, you only turn twenty four only once, we're eating out, and-- um-- we can invite Klaus too, only if you want."

"It sounds like a date and a family meet up at the same time. Slow down Cameron, I know you're in love with me, but I think you should be more discreet."

"You're so cocky, it's annoying you know that?" She asked as she started to lie down on the makeshift bed they had made on the floor for everyone to sleep in.

Diego did the same as he replied, "so I've heard."

"So what if I am? Trying to meet your family?" She asked as she turned to face him.

"Klaus would like you, and never leave you alone ever again. You're gonna love babysitting" He told her.

Which made Juliette laugh, "And what would feel about that?" she asked.

"Do you want the funny answer or the real answer?" He asked.

"Real." Juliette was quick to whisper.

There was only a small lamp turned on, so that no one would trip while going to the bathroom, Diego could see Juliette only because of how close they were. "I think that would make me happy."

"Really?" They were close enough to hear each other, if Diego was even a little further he wouldn't be able to hear her at all.

Juliette's eyes kept shifting from Diego's eyes and lips, Diego was caught doing the same.

Was it finally happening? It was probably something Juliette wanted to do ever since she saw the boy, they were so close, maybe it was happening now.

They were unconsciously leaning forward.

They were so close.

But when it was just about to happen, Juliette was the one to put a stop to it. She put her hand in between stopping the kiss.

Diego leaned back quickly creating space between them, "I'm sorry." He whispered, moving further away, "I shouldn't hav--"

"No, no-- it's not that." She quickly said, "I wanted to, too. I didn't want to have our first kiss drunk. If we do kiss I want to remember it."

Which caused Diego to laugh, "God, you think things through, no wonder I like you so much."

Juliette was laughing with him now, "see you are still drunk, you wouldn't admit that ever."

"We should sleep it off." He suggested.

"I agree." She said, she held his face and tilted it slightly so that she could kiss his cheek, "Happy Birthday. Goodnight." She muttered before completely turning around.

"Night, Juliette."
