Chapter 5: A shock for me

She opened her eyes to see her baby sister in her arms. She then remembered she had class soon. The first thing she did was check to see if her brother had messaged, so she opened her phone eagerly and saw that her brother had messaged her.

bro: Hey sis, I know you have school soon and you can't take Amara with you, so here is my friends number who can babysit her and she can drive her to nursery. 078 675 765. 

 Me: Thanks! By the way does dad know that mum is gone?

Her brother instantly responded by saying 

bro: Idk.

Me: Do I have to tell him that your gone?!?!?

bro: Yes.

Me: I can't tell him that! He will be upset!

bro: I got a business meeting soon. If he signs the deal with me I can pay for your fees. 

Me: That's great news. Hopefully soon I can live with you guys right?

bro: Yes if he signs. I gotta go now bye.

me: Bye.  

She then messaged the number, they hit it off and started chatting. The babysitter then said she won't accept charges though Ameillia tried to bargain but the babysitter wouldn't budge so Ameillia got Amara ready and herself. The babysitters name was Sophia. Amiellia got dress in a white shirt that clung to her body and she paired it with black trousers and a leather jacket. She swung her bag over her shoulders and she also grabbed Amara's bag for nursery. When she reached the bottom of the stairs she saw her father had just come out of his room. She could see that he was looking around. His eyes fell on her "Where's your mum?"

He demanded. Her breathing hitched and she just managed to get out "She left with Nathan and Nick."

His eyes darkened with hate and he came towards her. He then said through clenched teeth "Where?"

She then replied "I don't know."

He then said hissed "You and her were arguing! DID SHE LEAVE BECAUSE OF YOU?!"

She held Amara's hand and went down the steps slowly simultaneously  she looked at her time on her phone and saw she was going to be late. Shit she thought if  she was late and if Prof Grey saw her she would never hear the end of it. Her father then saw how she was slipping away and he grabbed her. He then said in a very calm manner that frightened her "Where do you think your going?"

Her heart was beating so fast. When her father talked calm to her it meant that he would lose it any second. She then barely whispered "School dad."

He then said "YOU WONT LEAVE UNLESS I LET YOU. TIME THAT YOU LEARNED AND ACTUALLY STARTED LISTENING TO ME."

He threw her down the remaining stairs and she winced in pain when she tried to stand her back was hurting she also flinched when her father went past her and slammed his room door shut. She managed to stand but it hurt a lot and she couldn't stand for long. She limped over to her sister and grabbed her hand. She then went down the stair. She opened the door to find that it was raining so she got her umbrella and saw that it was only big enough for one person so she shielded Amara from the rain. After walking for what seemed like a long time her phone rang and it was Sophia. She smiled while answering the phone she also told her that she would be coming soon. The more she walked the more her back hurt. When she got to school she was wet. She had dried off a little since it was windy however  she had missed one lesson and the next would be starting soon. She then went to find Lewis and Abs. Once she saw her Abs then asked "You missed one lesson why?"
