The strict Teacher and me

Chapter 8: Searching for love.

After finishing my shift I went to the funeral. I didn't stay there long. I couldn't. It was a short funeral anyways after I was done with that I went to Sophia's house and picked up Amara. We went home and I was shocked to see Nathan and mum there. I felt the anger rising and the nervousness. They were talking and laughing like the perfect family. Mum instantly took Amara and enveloped her into a hug I was expecting one but it never came. My mum then went back to her family and started laughing my little sister giggling happily and my brother speaking. I went off to the bathroom upstairs and heard my dads booming laughter echoing around the house and my little sister is cackling and Nathan is chuckling. I squeezed my hands until the colour drained from them. I remind myself I am his daughter not a son. That is the perfect family my dad wants down there. Without me. I shut my eyes. A tear rolled down my cheek. I would do anything for my father to accept me and hug me. Tells me he loves me for once in his life. But no "I am a disgrace."

 The words echoed in my head. I flinch at the memories of my father beating me. Does he not care about me? Prof Grey has is so easy sons have it so easy... 

By the time I go downstairs my brother has gone and mother. My father is still smiling as he has Amara in his lap. As he turns to me I see the hate in his eyes she glares at me then shouts "Make me dinner! NOW!" 

I flinch as he shouts and hurry to make dinner. I watch from the kitchen as he handles Amara softly. Playing with her. I hear  "I love you Amara." 

He never said that to me what have I done to him? I bring dinner out and again I see the hate in his eyes I try to search his eyes for something else but all I could see was hate. I took Amara got my shoes on and left while he was shouting. I have lesson with Prof Grey. I called up Sophia and told her some things luckily she understood and looked after her.  My phone was ringing and it was Prof Grey. He then said "I am out your house where are you no one is answering the door?" 

"H-hi sir. I am in the park." I stuttered.

"Send me your location." he said

"Ok." I said

I sent him my location and a couple of minutes later He came and sat down on the bench next to me "Come we are going to our lesson now."  he said coldly.

In the car there was an awkward silence. I could tell. He is back to his old self. Suddenly the beeping noise of the phone made me jump and forced me out of my thoughts. He looked at me then at the phone he picked it up and answered his expression turned angry as he harshly made a turn. I was confused at to where he was taking me but I trusted him. I guess so. Soo e we where in front of a school. Willow groves school. I wonder why we are here as I was about to say something a moody looking girl came and slammed the car door. I looked at Prof Grey then too the girl then Prof Grey said angrily "Why were you smoking?" 

She then said "I was not smoking." She looked him in the eyes. 

"They said that they saw you with a cigarette next to your feet!" He shouted "Your father is not going to be happy about this!" He continued.

She then said "I was not smoking how many times do I have to tell you." 

She then plugged her headphones in while Prof Grey snapped "TAKE YOUR HEADPHONES OUT OF YOUR EARS." 

She huffed and took out her headphones while looking out of the window. The tension was so thick that it could be cut with a knife. Looking at Prof Greys features I noticed the little moler on his nose which made his look handsomer than before. Quickly I looked away so he didn't catch me staring. When the car stopped the girl got out and waited by Prof Greys house. Prof Grey let us in and led me to the living room while he led the girl to another room. When he came back he said "Stay here I am going to take a quick shower. You can watch Tv."
