kojo day 2 – exited kojo and hurt lucy
lucy and tim were taking kojo for a the sun was shining, and a gentle breeze rustled the leaves as they strolled down the sidewalk, Kojo happily trotting alongside them.
Kojo suddenly spotted a squirrel darting across the street. With a burst of excitement, Kojo took off, his leash slipping out of tim's hand. Lucy saw Kojo sprinting towards the squirrel, she ran after Kojo.
As Lucy caught up to Kojo, she saw him skid to a stop near a tree, his tail wagging triumphantly. Relieved, she reached out to grab his collar when suddenly, her foot caught on a raised piece of pavement. Time seemed to slow down as she felt herself falling forward, the ground rushing up to meet her. With a sharp cry of pain, Lucy landed awkwardly on her ankle, a sharp jolt of agony shooting through her.
Tim, who had been chasing after Kojo, reached Lucy just as she hit the ground. Concern etched his face as he helped her sit up, gently checking her ankle. Lucy winced, tears welling up in her eyes from the pain. Tim reassured her, "It's going to be okay, Lucy. I'll take care of you."
Realizing they were too far from home to walk back, Tim quickly hailed a cab. With Kojo by their side, they made their way to the nearest hospital. The doctors confirmed that Lucy had indeed broken her ankle.
After receiving medical care, Lucy's ankle was wrapped in a cast, and she was given crutches to help her move around. Tim gently helped her into the cab, and they made their way back home. Despite the pain, Lucy couldn't help but smile as she looked at Kojo, who nuzzled her hand with concern.
Back home, Tim made sure Lucy was comfortable on the couch with her leg elevated. Kojo curled up by her feet, offering silent support. As the evening settled in, Lucy felt grateful for the love and care of both Tim and Kojo.
