Same day 📍UWI Hospital 5:00pm
After helping the other nurses and finishing up my tasks for the day I clocked out and told all my coworkers goodbye and walked out with the few nurses that was on the same shift with me.
Walking to the front of the hospital I stopped I took my phone out my tote bag taking it off silent.
"Ms.Morris you coming we are going to take a taxi down the road?", one of my coworkers asked me.
"No my boyfriend is coming to pick me up today", I said giving them my full attention.
"Eeh addi same Amir guy", my coworker asked.
"Who fah man can't pick them up a bat", my other coworker said and we all laughed.
"Yuh nuh rest enuh my girl and no it's not Amir we broke up about a month now", I said giggling.
"Longtime yuh did fi get rid of him", my coworker said making me laugh.
"True nuh know wah me did a wait pon", I said playfully rolling my eyes at what I said.
"Alright later see you tomorrow", they said walking off while I wait.
Waiting for around ten minutes I heard my phone ringing.
Ma heart🫶🏾 calling...
Answering the voice call I put my phone close to my ears after answering the call.
"Babe", I answered with a smile painted on my face.
"Yow mi almost reach, weh yuh deh?", he asked aggressively.

"Wah happen to hi, hello", I asked with my eyebrows knitted even though he couldn't see me.
"Yow is either yuh tell mi which part inna the hospital yuh deh enuh gee", he said in a stronger tone.
"Gee? We a friend now", I said while laughing and shaking my head.
"Chargie yah guh tell mi or wah", he said hissing his teeth.
"Me deh addi same place stand up where you let me off this morning", I muttered.
"Ah", he hanged up into my ears before I could say anything else.

Seeing his car pulling up into the parking lot he didn't came out of his car this time to pull my door for me.
Getting inside his car I put on my seatbelt while sitting there quietly while he pulls out of the parking lot coming off the hospital compound.
