(Sam's POV)
We got home fast. Sarah dragged me by the neck out of the car and opened the house door. She then proceeded to throw me across the room and onto the back wall. I slumped down to the floor. "You. Are so. Weak. Never try and challenge me again." She brought out a whip. I was repeatedly whipped across the face and stomach, the whip even going through my clothes. She kept punching and whipping and kicking me over and over again. All I was doing? Trying to stay alive. And I knew that once I faint, she stops. And so I do. How do I know? Everything goes black.
A few hours later I wake up on the floor, my cuts still bleeding. I went to the bathroom. " I deserve this..." I say to myself in the mirror over and over again, then look at my reflection. What I see staring back isn't...well...me anymore. I grabbed the razor blade. I started carelessly cutting my wrist, in the end only having 2 bleeding wrists. If I put it to my throat...I could end it all here..it would be so easy..what are you thinking! I put down the razor blade and come out of the bathroom. Sarah stands there with a whip. I immediately step back, my whole body shaken. She whips my leg. "I'm going out with my friends. Do NOT TELL ANYONE ABOUT OUT SECRET. DO YOU HEAR ME!" She shouts at me as I silently nod. "Good. I'll be back by ten." 6 hours without her? This is great! She shuts the front door and I decide to text Colby.
Sam:hey Colby
Colby: Yo. Hi
Sam:I was wondering if I could come hang out?
Colby:Sure, I'd be happy to have you over.
Sam: what's your address?
Colby: ########### . Come meet me there.
Sam: ok, going now 👍🏻
Colby:see you soon!
I put down the phone and start walking, since Sarah took the car. I look at the big apartment block coming closer and closer. I looked at my phone to check something then go inside, up to floor 3. "Room 7...room 7...room- aha!" I took a deep breath in and knocked on the door. I was answered immediately to Colby and 4 others. "Welcome Sam! This is where I live, and these are my roommates. These are Jake, Aaron, Elton, and you have already met Corey." Knocks come from the door as I sit down with the boys, since they beckoned me over. A boy and a girl come in. "This is Brennan and Kat" he says to me. " Kat, Brennan, this is Sam." Kat waves at me and Brennan comes over and gives me a fist pump. I return it.
"We have the whole crew now, how about we have some fun?"
