Mr. Taekyung told Nayeon to show everyone their rooms. She bowed gracefully and led the way, with the others following her.
Jeongyeon was lost in her thoughts as usual, and Sana was trying to talk to Tzuyu, who was ignoring her. Momo felt shy being next to Dahyun. Nayeon then directed Dahyun, Tzuyu, Sana, and Momo to their rooms next to hers.
After settling them in, Nayeon gestured for Jeongyeon to enter the room. Jeongyeon, following her, embraced Nayeon from behind, saying softly, "I missed you."
Nayeon was taken aback by Jeongyeon's touch, feeling shivers, and was unable to speak, her heart racing. She gently removed Jeongyeon's hand, stating, "This is your room," without looking at her. Jeongyeon tried to act normally, but Nayeon's behavior puzzled her.
"Where's your room?" Jeongyeon asked, looking directly at Nayeon, who ignored her gaze and headed towards the door, mentioning, "Just next to yours. I'll go prepare lunch now." As she was about to leave, Jeongyeon finally asked, "What's wrong, Nayeon? Why are you acting like this?"
Nayeon, still not facing her, softly replied, "Nothing," and then left the room. Jeongyeon couldn't make her stay, even though she wanted to desperately. She sighed and sat on her bed, examining her room.
Jeongyeon lay on the bed, staring at the ceiling, and thought, "Oh, so this is how it's going to be... I can't do anything about this." She reflected on the moment she hugged Nayeon and how wonderful she smelled. Jeongyeon whispered to herself with affection, "It was so nice... I want to smell her more."
___________________Tzuyu, with a blank expression, said, "This is your room, I'm leaving." Sana grabbed her hand and made her sit beside her, asking softly in her ear, "How old are you?"
Tzuyu pushed her away and asked, "Your age?" Sana jokingly replied, "Although I'm 28, I feel young at heart." Tzuyu, without any expression, retorted, "Oh! I'm 10 years younger than you, old lady." Sana, annoyed with the term "old lady," suggested, "You can call me unnie instead, and age doesn't matter," holding onto her arm. Tzuyu pushed her away once more and left the room without saying anything, leaving Sana irritated.
On the other hand, Dahyun and Momo sat together, both feeling shy. Dahyun, gathering courage, asked, "How old are you, unnie?" which made Momo nervous. Momo softly replied, "28, you?"
Dahyun smiled and replied, "I'm 18, and you can look at me." Momo glanced at her and remarked, "We're 10 years apart!" Dahyun smiled again and reassured Momo, "It's okay, I can be your friend, you're my type," causing Momo's heart to beat fast. Dahyun then said, "Okay, I'll go now, my room is just beside yours," to which Momo nodded.
Nayeon rushed into her room and leaned against the door, her heart racing. With tears in her eyes, she whispered to herself, "I'm sorry, Jeongyeon." After a while, there was a knock on her door, startling Nayeon. The voice outside said, "Miss Margaret, come for lunch, everyone is waiting for you." Nayeon responded, "Yes, I'm coming."
She quickly wiped her tears, gathered her courage, and stepped out. As she entered the living room, she saw everyone gathered around the table, waiting. The only available seat was between Jeongyeon and Kyungso. Nayeon sighed and sat down, saying, "Sorry for this." They all began their lunch, laughing and chatting.
Jeongyeon felt a mix of nervousness and happiness sitting next to Nayeon.
"Here, my lady," Kyungso said to Nayeon, offering her a piece of his steak. Nayeon forced a smile,
but Jeongyeon's heart was in turmoil, unable to intervene. "You guys make a great pair," Momo commented with food in her mouth. Upon hearing this, Kyungso placed his hand on Nayeon's thigh, causing her discomfort,
Jeongyeon's heart pained watching it. Nayeon glanced at Jeongyeon, noticing her gaze on Kyungso's hand, and gently removed it from her thigh.
