They all returned to their camping area as the clock struck midnight, enveloped in an eerie silence and darkness that sent shivers down their spines."Quickly, light the fire," Kai urged Jake nervously, his eyes darting around the ominous surroundings. "Hold on, buddy, I need a hand with this," Jake replied.
Momo, overwhelmed with fear, clung tightly to Dahyun, shutting her eyes tightly. Sana, despite her aversion, grasped Kai for comfort. "I'm feeling hungry; let's whip up some ramen quickly," Jeongyeon suggested, gently draping her arm around Nayeon's shoulder.
"Hey, unnie, please ask Sana unnie to sleep with you," Dahyun whispered to Nayeon. "Be quiet! Just sleep with her, no complaints," Nayeon scolded her.
"Unnieeee," Dahyun whined, trying to persuade her but received a smack from Nayeon. "I was worried you two might do something, that's why I did this. Now, don't argue," Nayeon said and went into her tent. Dahyun pretended to kick after her and cursed her in her heart, then accepted it and went into her tent.

it was very late at night.
Sana was already asleep, while Momo was waiting for Dahyun to come. "Come here," Momo whispered, opening her arms for her. Dahyun's mood changed, and she smiled, snuggling into Momo's neck. "Let's sleep," Momo said after gently kissing Dahyun's forehead. They were exhausted from all the work they did and had to wake up early to return to the mansion.
Nayeon slowly nestled next to Jeongyeon, who gazed at her with affection. The cozy tent brought them intimately close, their eyes locked in a moment of shared breaths and quickening heartbeats. Softly, Jeongyeon whispered,
"May I embrace you?" Nayeon met her gaze and nodded in agreement. With a tender touch, Jeongyeon wrapped her arm around Nayeon's shoulders, drawing her nearer. A gentle smile graced Nayeon's lips as she placed her hand over Jeongyeon's heart, feeling the rhythmic beats synchronizing with her own.
Breaking the silence, Jeongyeon mustered the courage to speak, "There's something I've been meaning to ask you." Nayeon lifted her eyes to meet Jeongyeon's gaze, prompting her to continue. Jeongyeon, with a delicate touch, brushed a stray strand of hair away and inquired,
"Why did you never send me any letters all these years?"
Searching for an answer within Nayeon's eyes, she awaited a response. Nayeon shifted her hand to rest on Jeongyeon's waist, her voice soft as she explained,
"Jeongyeon, I... I was in love with you and i am, the words never seemed enough, even though I longed to reach out. Besides, my grandfather caught me writing a letter once and forbade me from doing so."
"But why?" Jeongyeon pressed gently. Nayeon briefly averted her gaze before meeting Jeongyeon's eyes again, revealing, "I wasn't allowed to communicate with friends or venture out until now. He granted me this freedom only for this month," Nayeon disclosed. Jeongyeon, a hint of frustration in her tone, caressed Nayeon's cheek, questioning,
"Why just for this month?"
Nayeon, with a hint of sadness in her eyes, explained, "In our family, women are not granted such liberties. My grandfather informed me a few days before your arrival that I could enjoy this freedom for a month, after which I must wed Kyungso and devote my life to him. That's why I asked him to invite you."
Jeongyeon furrowed her brows, leaned in, kissed Nayeon's forehead, and reassured her, "Now that I'm here, you don't need to marry him." Nayeon smiled warmly, finding solace in Jeongyeon's words, and snuggled closer to her.
Jeongyeon inhaled Nayeon's scent and softly said, "You smell divine, my dear." Nayeon giggled, playfully unbuttoned a part of Jeongyeon's dress, and leaned in to inhale her fragrance, remarking,
"You smell enchanting as well." Jeongyeon chuckled. "Come closer," Jeongyeon said, sliding her hand to Nayeon's neck, and kissed her ardently. Nayeon, amidst the kisses, whispered,
"I adore you," against Jeongyeon's lips, smiling before deepening the kiss. As the moment intensified, they embraced each other tightly and kissed passionately, their connection deepening with each touch, their tongue swirling in unison.
"Let's rest," Jeongyeon said bashfully, her cheeks flushing. Nayeon smiled, rested her head on Jeongyeon's chest, and closed her eyes.

The sun's rays danced across the horizon, signaling the start of a new day. With a sense of urgency, Jeongyeon rallied everyone to prepare for their journey back to the mansion. "Quick, let's get going," she urged, deftly loading the luggage into the car. Momo, reluctant to leave, voiced her protest,
"I don't want to go." Playfully, she turned to Kai, "Can we make a stop on the way?" Dahyun, jealously, pinched Momo's finger, causing her to retract it swiftly. Kai, considering the request, replied, "We'll see." With a mix of excitement and anticipation, they all piled into the car.
Kai casually lowered the car window and gestured for Jeongyeon to do the same, "I've heard whispers of a stunning Alpsee Lake along our route. Shall we venture there?" Kai's voice carried to Jeongyeon from a distance.
"Absolutely, why not! If you're
familiar with the area, I'll gladly follow your lead,"she responded.Kai nodded in agreement, and they revved up their cars, speeding towards their destination. Their excitement echoed in joyful shouts. After a few hours, they arrived at their destination and stepped out of the cars, greeted by the awe-inspiring beauty of Alpsee Lake. The pristine water glistened under the gentle sunlight, mirroring the grandeur of the encircling mountains. The air was scented with the fragrance of pine trees, while the melodic chirping of birds added to the tranquil ambiance.
Hand in hand, they joyfully raced into the lake, their laughter and cheers harmonizing with the surroundings. "Momo, behold!" Kai exclaimed as he playfully splashed water towards her. Momo, soaked and playful, retaliated by splashing water back at Kai, getting a chuckle from him.
Dahyun intervened, pulling Momo away from Kai and drawing her close, saying, "Stay with me." Momo playfully said, "Yes, ma'am," before splashing water back at her.
Jeongyeon and Nayeon, intertwined hands, waded into the water, immersing themselves halfway. Together, they reveled in the sheer delight of the moment.
"Guys, let's grab something to eat," Momo suggested. They all changed into fresh clothes. "Ramen is our only choice again because we have nothing else," Jake remarked.
They quickly prepared ramen for everyone and enjoyed it together as the sun was setting. "Hurry up, it's getting late," Kai urged. Sana got in the car, and they set off. It was close to midnight, and they still hadn't arrived.
The place was eerie, with a narrow road surrounded by large trees, and the darkness was overwhelming, making them all scared.
"I'm scared, please drive faster, Jeongyeon," Momo said, seeking comfort by leaning on Dahyun's shoulder. "I'm doing my best, we're almost there, don't look out the window," Jeongyeon reassured, holding Nayeon's hand to calm her down. Nayeon smiled back, feeling reassured.

Finally, they arrived at the mansion and were greeted by Mr. Arthur, Mr. Taekyung, and Ms. Mun Young, who were all seated on the couch with the maids looking displeased around them.
"Are you all okay? Do you realize how late it is?" Ms. Mun Young scolded them. They were all frightened.
"Margret, go to your room, Kyungso wants to speak with you," Mr. Arthur instructed, and Nayeon followed his orders after exchanging a glance with Jeongyeon.
"Jeongyeon, please be responsible, it's very late, and we were worried," Mr. Taekyung expressed, and they all nodded, feeling ashamed. "Alright, that's enough, go get ready for dinner," Mr. Arthur commanded his maids.
Thanks!
