Akira Interview with CNN

Interviewer: SAGC (South Asia Giant Corporation Ltd.) is dominating the investment sector for new startups. Is this a new move by your father because he was even in the past accused of creating monopolies, and how do you see yourself putting his ideas into reality?

Akira: I think for me, what it means is that I’ll continue the advocacy work that I'm doing in the private investment sector, advocating for the economic empowerment of new entrepreneurs. I’m very focused on the role of creating an ecosystem for new industries to thrive. I’m still my father’s daughter.

So to me, this particular title was about giving critics the comfort of knowing that I’m holding myself to the highest ethical standard. But I’ll weigh in with my father on the issues I feel strongly about.

Back in the office

Akira could hardly believe what she had just heard. Vasco’s audacity left her stunned and embarrassed, especially in front of her father and brother.

However, she quickly composed herself, maintaining her professional demeanor.

She took her seat at the table, making direct eye contact with Vasco. "Good afternoon to you too," she said, her voice steady. "Yes, going forward with a project in Afghanistan will indeed be challenging.

We need to consider the geopolitical implications, the safety of our personnel, and the long-term viability of our investments there."Mr. Meherjirana spoke up, his voice measured.

"This is precisely why we need a strong coalition. The combined strength of SAGC and ITS will provide us the leverage we need to navigate these challenges."Jeh, visibly agitated, added, "But making a condition about Akira leading the project only if she's expecting a child is utterly disrespectful and irrelevant to our business objectives.

"Mr. Petit tried to ease the tension, "We are here to discuss the potential and logistics of this project. Let’s focus on the strategic partnership and how we can achieve our mutual goals.

Akira turned to Vasco, determined to steer the conversation back to business. "Could you please provide more details about this project?

What exactly are we looking to achieve in Afghanistan, and what are the specific roles each company will play?

Vasco voice hard but detached of any emotions

"Vasco, recognizing her shift, responded, "The project involves constructing a large-scale hydroelectric power plant. Afghanistan's new authority is looking to rebuild their infrastructure, and this project is crucial for their energy independence.

ITS will handle the construction and engineering aspects, while SAGC will manage the financial investments, public relations, and stakeholder engagement.

"Addressing Concern Akira nodded thoughtfully. "It's a significant undertaking. We must ensure that we have a comprehensive risk assessment and mitigation plan in place. Our teams will need to work closely with local communities and authorities to ensure that we have their support and cooperation.

"Mr. Meherjirana agreed. "Exactly. This is where your expertise in corporate communications and stakeholder management will be invaluable, Akira.

"Akira glanced at her father, who gave her an encouraging nod. She then addressed the room, "I appreciate the confidence in my abilities.

However, I would like to make it clear that my personal life should not be a condition for my professional responsibilities.

We need to approach this project with a clear and professional mindset.

"Vasco’s eyes narrowed slightly, but he didn’t respond immediately. Instead, his voice commanding and heavy on its meaning.

"I decide for our personal life further I'll talk you once we're done with this meeting"

The rest of the meeting proceeded with detailed discussions on the project logistics, timelines, and strategic planning.
