When I found Raven I pulled her into a tight hug and started sobbing into her chest. I clung to Raven like a lifeline, my body trembling as I let out all the emotions I had been holding back. The pain of breaking up with Calum, the guilt of hurting him, the fear of the unknown... it all came pouring out in tears and sobs. I buried my face in her chest, seeking comfort and solace in her embrace."Hey... you did wonderful.... we can leave if you want?" She questioned softly.
I pulled away slightly, wiping away the tears that streamed down my face. I looked up at Raven, her comforting gaze soothing some of my emotional turmoil. I nodded, feeling drained and raw. "Yes, please..." She got me off of her gently and pulled me out of the building. We got outside into the crisp night air. Raven walked me to her car which was a violet Corvett. She opened the passangers door for me before pinning me to the seat.
I felt a surge of desire and relief course through me as Raven pinned me to the seat. Her lips on mine sent sparks through my body, and I wrapped my arms around her, pulling her closer as I surrendered to the kiss. The pain and guilt of breaking up with Calum melted away in her embrace, replaced by an overwhelming need for her touch.
Eventually she pulled away and leaned her forehead against mine. "Feel better?" She asked, our breath mingling. I sighed softly, feeling a sense of comfort and contentment wash over me. I looked into her eyes, my heart still racing from the intensity of the kiss. A small smile tugged at the corners of my lips as I softly whispered, "Much better..."
"Wonderful... quick question. Do you want to get your stuff from your hotel or do we go straight to my place?" She questioned. I thought for a moment, considering our options. I really didn't want to go back to the hotel where Calum might be staying as well. I looked up at Raven, a hint of uncertainty in my gaze. "Can we go straight to your place?" She nodded and got off of me while sighing out "Weekend shopping spree it is."
I watched as Raven got into the driver's seat and started up the car, a small smile still lingering on my face. As she started driving, I fiddled with my hands, a mixture of nervousness and excitement building up in me. "Weekend shopping spree? What are we going to buy?" She buckled up before turning to me and saying, "Considering you're gonna be staying with me from now on.. as wonderful as leaving you with nothing to wear, I'm not evil."
A blush crept onto my cheeks at her words, my heart fluttering in my chest. I couldn't help but smile at her playful tease. "Leaving me with nothing to wear, huh? That doesn't sound so bad~" she sighed before speaking. "Yes, but with how frequent I got to galas, parties, travel.. It is necessary." I chuckled softly, feeling a flutter of excitement at the idea of going to galas and parties with her. I playfully pretended to pout, feigning disappointment.
"Okay, I suppose you make a good point. Though, I'm not sure my bank account can handle a whole weekend of shopping..." she laughed slightly before startting the car and pulling out of the lot. "Who ever said anything about your account?" I raised an eyebrow, a mixture of surprise and curiosity on my face. The possibility of her paying for everything hadn't even crossed my mind. I bit my lip thoughtfully, not wanting her to think I was just some gold digger.
"You're going to pay for all my clothes and everything? Are you sure?" She nodded, "Yes. I was the one who got you to break up with Calum so I should be the one who helps you ease into your new life." I felt a pang of guilt at the reminder that she was the reason behind my break-up with Calum, but it was quickly replaced by a warm feeling of gratitude. She was offering to help ease me into this new chapter of my life, and I was both touched and a little overwhelmed by her generosity.
"That... That's really sweet of you. But you don't have to do that, you know. I don't want you to think I'm just taking advantage of you..." she quickly glanced at me before looking back at the road. "I know a gold digger when I see one Freya. You. Arent one."
