16| The prince and a ninja

I saw that someone wrote a story like this before, so i decided to write a similar one🫶

AU: in this AU, Kai and Nya aren't ninjas, but they are the jade prince and princess, and Ray is the emperor and Maya is the empress. They rule over Ninjago city. One day, they invited the ninjas to help them with something. They needed bodyguards. Also in this AU Harumi the girl ninja instead of Nya, and her elemental power is diamond. [sorry i couldn't come up with a better element] They arrived and   when Cole saw the prince who's name is Kaiden, he instantly fell in love. But Kai had feeling for the earth ninja too. But they aren't the only lovebirds. Jay fell in love with the princess, Nyad. Nyad had feeling too. And no Lloyd and Rumi aren't dating. They dont even like each other romantically.

Kai's POV:

I was in my room and i got my prettiest clothes on but someone walked in. "Im  sorry your highness, your father told me to help you. Is that okay for you Kaiden?" It was a maid. The sweetest one i know in Ninjago.

"No, its not a problem. You can help me, thank you Linda." I said and i smiled at her. She brushed my dark brown hair. "Do you want me to gell your hair Kaiden?" She asked me. I chuckled.

"Yes, thank you." I gave a soft smile to her. Someone knocked on the door. "Hey big bro. Father told us that the ninjas are almost here. You need to come to the throne room." She smiled cause she really excited.

"Okay." I said and Nya left. "Linda? Can i ask you an important thing?" I asked her but i didn't smile anymore. "O-of course your highness." She managed to say. "Did you ever felt love?"

She was shocked. "Ummm.... No i didn't." She says while still making my hair. "Oh. Okay. But what is it feels like?" She stopped and looked at the floor. "Its.... awesome. I lied to you. I felt love before but i thought i loved him. We were really good. I loved him with my full heart. One day i went to work and when i got home, i saw that my husband..... kissed another girl. And he didn't pull away." She said and started crying.

I stood up and i hugged her. She stopped for a moment. "Its okay. Let it all out." I said to her. She hugged me back. "Thank you your highness." She said under her crying. "Call me Kai please. I should be thank to you. You're here for me every day when my sister is not. I love her so much but im so thankful for your kindness." I said to her.

"Your Highness. Its ready to go." A soldier said. I chuckled. "Okay then. Thank you again Linda." I smiled to her. "No. I thank you Kai." She said smiling too. I then left.

Cole's POV:

We arrived to the palace already and we only saw the empress, emperor and their daughter. They said that the prince hasn't arrived yet. "Sorry father. I just talked with Linda abaut something." The prince said.

I saw him and Oh for the FSM, he was so beautiful. Those hazelnut colored eyes. His face. His hair. His voice. He was pefect. I think im in love guys.

"Oh seems like they had already arrived. Welcome ninjas. Im the jade prince and im so glad that we can meet." He smiled. He was the most prettiest thing i ever saw in my life. He came closer to us and Jay saw me blushing.

He smirked, then turned back to the prince. "Nyad come here please." He turned to her sister. She came to us too. "Its a pleasure to meet you ninjas." She chuckled. "Jay, master of lightning." She said and the prince turned to me. I blushed so hard.
