I'm supposed to work on my other DetCo fics, or actually continue the timeline of this fic, but I just can't get myself to do it. The things I find hard to write are cases and episodes...

But, like, writing episodes is just needing to rewrite what happens and change some few things, but I just never come to like how the chapter turns out... It usually looks too much like a script, since there are so many lines since there's so much talking. I already find it like so as this already is...

I'll see if I ever come to get myself to write the episodes I plan for this fic, but if I'm to push myself for a chap, I think I'll need to focus on the case I'm doing for Shifting Truth.

But since I ended up writing this instead, I'm just sending it out now.

Hope you enjoy!

It was a sunny day as they were out in the park. With school over for the day, and it being Friday, the Detective Boys had decided to go to the park together. Ayumi, Genta, and Mitsuhiko had dragged the other three with them, having a football in their hold. Christie smiled as they played. Of course, Conan was on his own team, while she and the kids were on the other. Haibara wasn't in the mood to play today, so she stood to the side and watched. As usual, even with Conan playing alone, he was winning by a great margin.

Christie softly shook her head as the kids whined, Conan grinning as he scored yet another goal. "Hey Conan, give them a chance," she said, throwing the other a glance.

The kids immediately complained in agreement, and the boy gave out a sigh. "Fine, fine," he muttered, but placed his hands on his hips. "How, then?" he asked. "Having you run at an open goal is unfair."

A small hum left Christie, and then she gave a smile. "How about we practice penalty kicks and reflexes?" she suggested, gaining their attention. "We can rotate standing goalie and doing the penalty kick."

The kids cheered in glee, and a small huff left Conan, but he gave a nod. "Alright, we can do that," he said, walking over to the ball and dribbling it until he caught it with his hands.

They gathered in the middle, about where Haibara stood, until Mitsuhiko suddenly yelled out. "Ah! I completely forgot!" he yelled out, staring at his wristwatch with wide eyes. "I was supposed to go to a store for my sister before it closes!"

"When does it close?" asked Haibara, as the boy had all their attention now.

"In just over an hour!" Mitsuhiko answered, but gave out a defeated sigh. "But I don't even know where it is..."

A huff left Conan, and he held the ball under his arm as he shook his head. "Do you know the name of the store?" he asked, looking at him. When getting a nod in response, Conan took out his phone. "Then just use a map," he said, using his smartphone to find the digital map.

"Ah! That's right!" Mitsuhiko beamed, and the boy ran to stand next to him.

Christie watched as Mitsuhiko informed Conan about the name and approximate location, but then a thought struck her. 'Wait... Map...' she muttered to herself, and her eyes grew wide. She spun around to face away, and she ruffled her hair harshly. "Hvorfor tenkte jeg ikke på det før?!/Why didn't I think of that before?!" she snarled to herself.

"Is something the matter, Edogawa-san?" Christie heard, and she turned to see Haibara glancing at her with a raised eyebrow.

A sigh left her, and she shook her head as she turned around again. "Just realised that I haven't done something that I should've done a long time ago..." she muttered, scoffing to herself. "How come I didn't think about it before...?"
