Dirty water surrounded Dylan as he travelled across the large river to the bottom of the hill. He could taste it after some landed into his mouth from the impact of the fall, he was dehydrated and needed to get to the bottom of the hill as quickly as possible. His wings weren't working anymore, the unexpected fall ended up damaging his wings. As he went across the flat hill, he realised that Joseph would probably just try to get him but end up leaving after a bit. But Joseph knew that Dylan was at the bottom of the hill. So he rushed down the hill, trying to look for Dylan, while his family waited for him by where the loose swing was. Time was ticking, but Joseph rushed down the hill as quickly as he could. He was able to make it down, but Dylan was nowhere to be seen, he had to wait a bit to see if Dylan would come down.

After an hour of waiting, Joseph could see a red figure going down the river to the bottom of the hill. He knew exactly who it was. He quickly swam into the river, gripping onto the sides and taking a look at Dylan from the angle he could see him. He swam up the river and caught Dylan with his hands, he cupped his hands and grabbed Dylan, checking if there was anything wrong with him. Sure enough, he saw an injury on the wing from when he fell onto rock-hard ground in the river. He could see that Dylan was either sleeping or unconscious.
He got out of the river.
He was dripping wet, and after shaking it off, he put Dylan onto the ground to inspect his injuries. His wing had a large cut, his stomach was bruised and his leg was clearly cut, too. He tried to fix the bruised stomach and covered him in his warm hoodie. But now the big challenge was to climb back up the hill and get past everything to try and heal himself. Joseph found something to cover the sore wing and he slowly ventured back up to the hill. Joseph inspected the cut, it was now healed and it seemed like Dylan would be able to fly once he woke up, the bruise was healing and soon it disappeared. The leg cut was still visible but slowly healing, too.
Joseph was walking up the hill.
Every step along the hill he went, he could hear Dylan grunting, he was no longer unconscious, but rather he was now sleeping. Once he heard Dylan breathing, he popped him inside his hoodie pocket. Dylan was resting in the hoodie pocket as Joseph trudged up the hill. Joseph was very lucky that Dylan was okay, but he was still in need of a check-up from the vet. He looked around the hill, he felt the peacefulness of the river as it slowly flowed down the hill. The trees were rustling around in the cold air. From now on, Joseph's mother would have to sew Dylan hoodies or clothes so that he wasn't freezing cold. Once Joseph saw a wooden slab lightly rocking around attached to two ropes, he knew that he was near. He climbed up back to the path, where everyone was waiting for them.
     "Dylan needs a vet."
After he said that, his mother checked Dylan's body. It was fine for now, but they could go after the walk. Dylan slowly opened his eyes, now Joseph was running across the pathway, They were getting closer to the Meadows.
         The Farms.
They went across a path paved in between fields, Dylan flew out of the hoodie pocket and across the paths. Once they made it out onto the road, they walked onto the pavement to get to the house. Once they got there, Dylan listened to a bit of history before they left to go to a forest near the estate that people used to camp in. Dylan walked around the forest for a split second before realising that it was a no-go. There was a small pond near the campfire as a reliable source of water. Other than that nothing really stuck out at him. But when they walked across the forest for a little longer, he realised why they were so excited in the first place. The woods had a long stream that stretched out for miles on end. It practically made it out of the forest and into the estate. Dylan could tell. It was narrow, but definitely very long. There was a zipline attached to two trees that spread across the stream, Dylan opted to go on it and fly across the river with some action, but they stepped on some wet stones that made their bottoms wet. Dylan just flew across the river himself. "You're such a party Pooper," he said, while they waited for him to glide across. They tried to get out of the forest, but the only way they could get out was a very weird way. They had to try and get past a set of trees to reach a field, or fields in this situation. Dylan thought that the idea of it was a bit weird. But there wasn't much of a choice but to do it. Once they got to the mucky field, they walked across to the fences. They climbed up the fences and kept doing that for the fields coming. Once they got out of the fields they trailed back home to have dinner. After dinner Dylan went upstairs while Joseph stayed downstairs to watch a few gameshows. After the chase ended with the chaser winning, AGAIN, Joseph went upstairs only to see Dylan yet again, writing in his diary:

Thursday

I didn't expect my dream to become reality today, maybe just not the way I expected it to.

Listen, I had a dream yesterday about a big forest adventure that me and my family went on.

We first went on a path, in a camping forest and across many fields! It was an epic dream.

So when I found out that we were going on an adventure exploring a forest, I was ecstatic. I wanted to make the day exactly like the dream I had last night. But how was I meant to do that? I could barely remember what it went like by the time I had eaten my toast for breakfast.

I had a quick swig of my Pepsi Max before we left (Just so that I could tour the bushes when it came to urinating, lol) and we ventured off!

First we started with a path we went across, it was this path paved on the very top of a hill. So when we walked across, there were many sites to see.

One of these incredible sights to see was a peaceful river flowing across the hill to the very bottom. This is where the epic parts kick in.

I saw a swing next to the river, I tried to swing on it, but what do you know? Because of how slippery it was I fell off, injured my wing and ended up in the river.

Joseph tried to save me, but it was too late and I was flowing across the river. I think after that I was unconscious because the next thing that happens, I'm in Joseph's hoodie pocket, wondering what happened.

We made it across the path into a forest, and onto a set of fields. We then went back home.

I had dinner and now I'm here.

Anyway it's getting Late and I need to catch up on rest.

Night.

Dylan eventually went to bed after closing his Diary. Joseph tucked him in and went to sleep himself. He didn't realise that there were only two days of the Holiday left. But he was definitely loving every minute. He tucked himself in, fluffed up his pillow and drifted off to sleep.
