5. The Great Makai war begins

A/N

note that when I'm talking about any animal/demon under his forces assume they're in a human form unless stated otherwise or specify appearance such as if i say the tanuki's charge forward assume it's humans with tanuki features running forward, unless the human appearance as been stated to be different like with sonic any animal that is not under izuku's command will not be in a humanoid form unless stated.

After the month of training all forces were now used to their human forms and their new powers, future historians would record this day September 1st as the day the great Makai war, that would last for a grueling 11 years.

the 10 year old Morningstar stands at the border that's stands between the neutral zone and the deer territory dressed in his military uniform, from the outside it looked like a normal business suit, with a black jacket and trousers with he red shirt, however it wasn't any ordinary clothing,  at Wukongs suggestion he learnt how to use his energy to make clothes because when he transformed animals into a demon they only gained 1 set of clothes and while it could be cleaned with his demonic energy easily it would be best to have different clothes, he himself had been keeping clean with the nearby like and destroying all dirt and bacteria with his energy. with this he had created his combat uniform, because he made it very specifically it didn't restrict his mobility and was incredibly durable

His force of  64 animals, up against a force of 495,  Shukaku had learnt a useful ability, which was to create an eye out of sand allowing him to see miles away with little effort. This allowed him to gauge the size of the enemy's fighting force. The Odds were 7-1 and his troops only had a month's training under their belt, but the forces in the southern region were getting nervous with recent attacks failing so he'd have to start now in order to gain more territory and convert the enemy forces.

First they set up camp along the border so they had a place to retreat to, it seems the deer were aware of their approach, because as they closed in on a small area without trees there were 70 deer of varying shapes and sizes waiting for them. Izuku who was currently atop a transformed fenrir, who discovered that they all had the ability to revert back into their animal forms,  observed the situation deciding on what moves to take, recalling one of the battle plans he and fenrir had come up with he called out to his soldiers "DEMONS, TODAY WE FIGHT,  THIS IS THE FIRST STEP TO TAKE DOWN ALL WHO OPPRESSED US, HUNTED US AND SCORNED US, WE SHALL TAKE OVER THE ENTIRE ISLAND AND BRING IT UNDER MY RULE NOW ENTER INTO FORMATION  A"

Following their Lords orders  they got into position, 10 men with spiky brown hair stepped forward forming two groups of 5, they were the few hedgehogs who were fully transformed into humans rather than being a humanoid hedgehog.

large spiked started growing out of their arms until it looked liked a large  wall of spikes were facing the enemy. the rest of the troops started to form behind them each group of five having 22 behind them, with the 6 leaders standing behind everyone "CHARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGE" all troops moved forward, and the deer met them halfway. The Antlers of the deer clashed against the spikes wall, it was an even clash until more deer came back up, they looked like the deer that had clashed before but they were, larger, white and had a gray beard. and with a cry of "wyrdeer", they glowed blue as the hedgehogs at the front were lifted into the sky and slammed down, the surrounding allies had to jump back  to avoid being spiked to death, however the seven chaos Hedgehogs (Aoimaru, Midorimaru, Akamaru, Murosakimaru, Kiiromaru, Torcoishimaru, Shiromaru) reacted in time sent out energy beams in there respective colours of blue, green, red, purple , yellow, turquoise and white.

they hit the  several wyrdeer and sent them flying back, deciding to further their position, 4 tanuki's charged forward grew in size and changed shape becoming giant Tanuki's instead of their demon forms, however this would prove to be their undoing as  20 deer lead  by a golden deer started charging at them, the normal deers started growing to a ridiculous size, they almost matched the size of the giants as they went to impale them, however sand came up to block the antlers but it was destroyed as the golden deer's antlers started to glow a bright yellow as lighting started to rain down from the sky, turning the sand to glass and frying the giant tanuki's allowing them to be impaled by the antlers, it got even worse as once they were impaled antlers burst  from every point of their body. causing blood to gush everywhere covering the entire battlefield in blood as they started to shrink back to there normal demon forms, dead "NOOOOOOOOOOOO" Cried out Izuku and shukaku as they felt their connection to the tanuki being cut, but that's when the realized that one  was alive.  The tanuki demon had brown hair and green eyes, looking to be about 15 years old. The boy was wrapped in sand and quickly transported to Izuku and Shukaku for some healing, before Izuku could start they heard him muttering "Fight... Fight... Fight.. keep on fighting, kill those bastards, bring freedom" before he could fade into unconsciousness izuku held his hand over and sent a small amount of energy into the tanuki, he couldn't fully heal him as he needed to conserve his energy but it was enough to keep him alive and kickstart his own regeneration, although it was wierd, instead of slowly stitching itself back together, he was steaming and where the steam was he was slowly healing, regenerating his injuries, however considering the extent of it, he'd be out for quite a while, but he'd live.
