Chapter 1

Melody P.O.V

It It was a raining day, well it stopped raining. I just woke up and my mum walked in. I was only 5 so she got me out some clothes.

"Good morning love" My mum said I smiled to her.

"Good morning mommy" I sat up in the bed.

"Honey, where going over to the neighbor. They wanted to meet us." She sat on my bed, I smiled and look out the window. We were new here, we moved here from London to Doncaster, South Yorkshire. I was happy that we did.

"But it's raining mummy" I said I liked the rain though.

"We will put a rain coat on then" She said smiling. I got out of bed and she took out some clothes. I put on a purple flower shirt on. My favorite color was purple, I put on some jeans. I put on my poke-a-dot rain boots on. I went down and grabbed a cookie.

"No, cookies until you eat real food" My mother said making me frowned. I ran and ate my pancake that was on my plate.

"Can I have my cookie" I asked looking up at my mum with doggies' eyes.

"Yes, but just one" She handed me one cookie.

"Thanks mummy" I took a bit of the cookie. My hair was still a mess I didn't care. I was watching the telly while my mum was making something.

"Melody, go brush your teeth" She said wrapping something.

"Okay mummy" I ran up the steps and into the bathroom. I took out a stool that my dad got for me and stood on it. I took my tooth brush and brushed my teeth.

"I'm ready mummy" I jumped off the last step.

"Let me fix your hair" She said. I sat down so she could fix my hair. I has 2 pig tales on, my hair color was light brown. I had my daddy greens eyes. He walked out, ready for work.

"Daddy!" I yelled as he walked out.

"Good morning princess" He smiled and picked me up. I smiled.

"I see you're ready to go somewhere" He said. I nodded and he kissed my cheek. He put me down and kissed my mum. EWWWW! I covered my eyes.

"So where are you and Melody going" He asked putting on his coat.

"Over to the neighbor's house" My mum said.

"Have fun you to, I'll be back around 6" He said opening the door.

"Bye daddy" I said waving goodbye.

"Bye" He said shutting the door. He and I were best friends.

"Baby, go put on your purple rain coat" I smiled.

"OKAY MUMMY" I yelled loud, I do that sometimes, I ran up to my room. I grabbed my purple rain coat and put it on.

"Ready" My mum asked putting on her coat, I nodded. She opened the door I smile, it was kinda cold. She grabbed my hand and we started walking next door. She rang the doorbell. than a women opened the door. She smiled at us.

"Come on in" The women said.

"It's nice to have you over" The women said. I looked around, she had a nice house, I liked it. I than saw a boy walk out of his room, he looked like if he was 7.

"Thank you for having us over" My mum said.

"I brought you something" My mum said handing the women a plate.

"Thank you" She said, she and my mum went into the kitchen. The boy walked in, he came up to me, he looked down to me.

"I'm Louis" He smiled.
