Chapter 8

The photo is how Melody looks like now. She changed.

"Mel, I have some news to tell you" Niall and I were walking at the park. It was a beautiful day outside.

"What's up leprechaun?" He looked worried.

"I'm going to go audition for the X-Factor" I looked up to him.

"THATS GREAT" I hugged him.

"But what if they say no" He asked. I looked up to him.

"Don't say that Nialler(I call him that sometimes), There going to love you. You're going to make it" I said.

"When your audition" I said waking to the ice cream shop.

"In 2 days" I got a lump in my throat. I look at the ground.

"So I have 2 more days with you" I said just looking at the ground. '

"Princess don't cry" I heard him say.

"Will I see you again" I looked up to him.

"If I don't make it far, I will come back to you. I know I won't make it far" He said. I know he was trying to cheer me up.

"Niall" I said. I knew I had to tell him. I like Niall, but more than friends. It been like that after I turned 15. Yup I and Niall are 16. I needed to tell him how I feel. But wait, will it ruined our friendship?

"Yes?" He asked.

"I know you'll be great" I hugged him. He was taller than me, by one inch.

"Thanks mel" We started walking back to the house. It was getting dark.

I was at my door. I was going to miss my leprechaun. I looked at him. He might be auditing in 2 days but he living tomorrow for other stuff he has to do. I looked at him. This was the last time I was going to be able to hang out with Niall. I had tears in my eyes. I started to think about everything we been through. From when I first met him, when we had our little hang outs in the tree house. To when he punched Adam for me, I felt the tear go down my cheek. He hugged me tight.

"Don't cry" He said, sounding like if he was.

"I love you Niall" I said, I kissed his cheek and walked inside. I closed the door and I ran to my room. Niall was still there, he looked confused as hell. I need to tell him. I guess I did it in a confusing way. He started walking away, he had a smile. I fell asleep.

"Melody wake up" I heard my mum say.

"Niall is leaving" My dad added.

I jumped out of bed and ran outside. He was laughing because of my hair. His mum and dad were in the car waiting for him.

I went up to him. I was about to cry. I looked up into his blue eyes. He had pretty blue eyes; I just fell in love with them.

"Don't cry princess" He said, he hugged me. I hugged him tight.

"I'll miss you leprechaun" I said.

"I'll come back. We will see each other again" He looked into my eyes.

"Melody, me and you became best friends. I'm glad that we are. I will never forget you. You will always be in my heart." He said.

"I'll be watching I know you will be famous" I said just hugging him.

"I love you" He kissed my cheek.

"More than friends" He whispered. I hugged him tight.

"Call every day, and if you stop, I know because you will be busy" I looked up to Niall.

"We will see each other princess" He pulled out his bracelet.

"I will always be there with you" He pulled out mine. I smiled.

"Bye leprechaun"

"Bye Mel"

We hugged one last time.

"I like more than a friend too" I whispered to him. He went to the car, waved goodbye and got in.

That was the last time I saw Niall before he got famous.
