- Y/n has nine cats, she adopted 3 more after Whiskers: Oreo, Kiki, Marshmallow, Fluffy, Puff, Whiskers, Mimi, Baby, Cookie;
- In this book Kokonoi is 16 and Y/n is 17, I thought it would be cute if she was older;
- I purposely didn't include how Y/n felt about Kokonoi till the end because I wanted that one chapter in her pov to show how much she actually cares, and she did have a thousand secrets like how Kokonoi thought and he still loved her with all those secrets;
- Y/n has a resting bitch face and that's why Misaki was so scared of her at first;
- Misaki was the very first girl friend of Y/n who never lied to her, that's why she liked her so much and they became bestfriends fast;
- Misaki is aroace;
- Y/n is Misaki's Baji to her Chifuyu. Their frienship was based on the two: Y/n is one year older than Misaki, like how Baji is older than Chifuyu, they started talking and became friends after Y/n saved Misaki, like how Baji saved Chifuyu;
- Kisaki and Hanma were actually supposed to be in the book, but I ended up not adding them;
- Kokonoi hates money, Y/n loves money. Kokonoi is good at making money, Y/n is good at spending it;
- Kokonoi and Y/n were originally supposed to have a relationship based on the song "Figure you out" by Voila, hence the title of the book is "Figure you out";
- When I wrote the chapter of the confession I was listening to "Ceilings" by Lizzy McAlpine. If you read that chapter while listening to it you can actually kinda see the vibe I was going for, and the chapter hits different during the rain scene;
- Y/n fell in love with Kokonoi when he found her laying in a puddle in the rain - then Kokonoi confessed to her in the rain;
- Their relationship has the dynamic "He fell first but she fell so hard she broke her neck (she fell harder, but she's down BAD for Kokonoi)";
- It was supposed to be a slowburn but I was so focused on Kokonoi's internal fights that I actually forgot the "slow" part (like I said it's my first book, forgive me);
- I was done with the whole book when I started publishing the chapters, every fun fact here was in my notes as ideas before I even started writing the book and this last fun fact chapter came into my mind after I posted chapter 2.
