Meeting the Sardaukar

It was yet another another cold night on Copper 9, and Uzi was on one of the many abandoned buildings on the planet, lost in thought. She used to be a worker drone a decade before, and her classmates 10 years earlier thought of her as either weird, short, or angsty. But not his friend, N, a disassembly drone. He, along with Uzi, V, and Tessa, tried to destroy the AbsoluteSolver, killing V in the process, and revealing that Tessa was dead all along. But he and Uzi pulled through, but it had horrible consequences. It made it more inhabitable for any life on the planet, and the workers started dying, one by one. To save Uzi, however, N turned her into a disassembly drone, using V's body he found, performing a solo-surgery on her, and turned her into U. Her sea of thoughts were interrupted, however, as she spotted three lights in the sky. They were not there. They were never there.

I should go ahead and tell N, she thought.
She gets up, retracts her wings, and flies towards the spire of dead worker corpses. She looks back, and sees that the lights are bigger now.
Eventually, she got to the spire. She gets in, and shouts: "Hey, N!"
Silence.
She looks around, trying to find him. As she was about to turn around, however, something pounced her, taking her by surprise. She looks up, and sees...
N.
"Hi, Uzi!" N chirped. He always takes her by surprise. Something to tell him? Surprise. Wanting to ask him to cuddle up for the night? Surprise. Wanting to ration out worker oil? Surprise, surprise, surprise.
"God dammit, N! Why do you always have to surprise me?" Uzi asks, sarcastically. "It's just fun!" N replies. They were dating, 10 years, to be specific. After N transformed her into one of his, she confessed her feelings to him, and, surprisingly enough, he said he "felt the same way". And now they were in this loving and affectionate relationship, mostly thanks to N.
"Yeah... I found some new lights in the sky, and, when I checked, they were bigger. Wanna see their status?" Uzi asks, to which N replies with "Sure, I love doing anything!", he loved saying that. N gets up, helps her get up too, and are about to go see the light, to which N randomly asks, "What do you think they are?". Being impatient, Uzi says, "I don't know, I just wanna see it now". After that, they take off.

In the outskirts of the city, 3 ships land. They were 'thopters. They are like helicopters, except they have no propellers. Instead, they have long, thin wings, which move like bees' wings. As the doors to the 'thopters open, outcome men, wearing gray armor, masks, and brandishing lasguns and knives. The last to come out, was an officer of the platoon. He pressed his comms, and says, "We have successfully landed on Copper 9. No sign of the landing pod, or the squad of drones." after saying that, he moves his fingers off the comms, and started following the squad. As if on cue, however, The two drones lands infront of the squad, creating a little bubble of snow around them. This caught them by surprise, and drawed their lasguns on them. As the snow cleared, N introduces himself with

"Hi! I'm N, and you?" slowly, but surely, they lower their lasguns, and the officers approaches towards the duo, "Hello, N. Where is V and J?" the officer asks. That caused to sadden N.
V sacrificed herself to save the 2 drones and the human, and J was killed in the AbsoluteSolver's explosion. But N just shrugs it off and says, "V and J are gone."
"Oh. and who's this one?" the officer asked, clearly asking about Uzi, to which N replied, "She's Uzi!"
"And where did you find Uzi?"
"Well, she was a worker, but, now she's one of mine!"
"Huh. How peculiar, a thinking machine apart of us now" the officer muttered to himself. After 4 seconds, the officer says, "You and your thinking machine partner will be taken in with us. Your mission is completed. You'll now be repurposed."
Repurposed, what does he mean 'repurposed'? N thought to himself.
"N?" Uzi croaked. "What're they gonna do to us?" she asks. "I don't know, but it would be alright," N replied. "Follow us, let's get you off this frozen wasteland" says the officer, as N, uzi, the officer, and the soldiers started pouring into the 'thopters. N and Uzi got the first seat, and, obviously, they sat next to each other. But it was only them and the officer, as the door to the 'thopter close, and they get transported off Copper 9.
