As N enters the the dark room, he can finally see what's in there; it was colourless and bland, and just north-west of the room were fully-armoured Sardaukar soldiers, guarding a room. He studies the armour for a few seconds; the armour was light grey, with the torso being protected by a chestplate; they also had knee and elbow braces on each of their limbs; they were also wearing a helmet, with a glass layer showing their upper face, and forehead. N looks away, seemingly processing what he did to Uzi. He had just murdered her. How could someone do such a thing?!
Suddenly, the door opens, and out comes a man dressed in a orange and blue uniform, with about 3 medals on the left side of his chest. N looks at him, looking at his face for a few seconds; he looks like he is of Asian descent, with small eyes, black hair, and has a seemingly pleasant build for his body.
"Ah, Serial Designation N, congrats on killing the last thinking machine yourself. Technically, your also a machine, of course, but half your programming is controlled by the Harkonnens now, to ensure that you won't end up like the machines before." The man coldly announces, with N not responding to him at all, just listening to him. A couple second later, the man continues with, "Now, its time for you to get off this planet now, and aid the Sardaukar and the harkonnens on Arrakis. But before we do that, you'll be heading to Giedi Prime to visit the baron." The man announces again, just as cold as the last one. This time, N responds, with, "very well. I hope it'll be worth it."
The man nods silently, before turning around, and begins to walk out of the door. When he finally gets out a few seconds later, the 2 soldiers follow him. N stood there for 10 more seconds, listening to the new comman he is instructed with.
Serial Designation N, please report to the briefing room to receive your armour.
As the command finishes, N starts moving, walking out of the door and into the hallway.N looks around the walls as he walks down to the briefing; there were nothing on the posters, posters, paintings, nothing. After 6 minutes of pure walking, he is now at the door of the briefing room. Not like before, he is finally hesitating to enter the room. But he forces himself to open the door, and enters the room, and it was not like what he was expecting it to be; at first, the room stretched into a long and thick line, before making itself into a square with no edges about 6 metres in; there were also 2 men in a grey uniform standing near a wall to the left; and in the middle were the Harkonnen general and the Sardaukar soldiers to both his left and right.
"Glad you're here, N. The baron himself made a prerecorded message for you, announcing your purpose here for now." Announced the general. N just look at him with hollow eyes, but didn't mind, walking past them and sitting down on the floor. 5 seconds later, a big blue ball of light appeared before him. After the ball prepared itself to broadcast, a man appeared replacing the blue ball.
He must be the baron, Thought N, studying the man before him; he was morbidly obese, with a bald spot on the top of his head, with ginger hair on the sides of his head remain. As he was studying him, the man began speaking."You're lucky you're not scrap metal now. I, along with the emperor, set a trap for the Atreides, thinking they inherited Areakis. Now that their bloodline has ended, and I want your help to reclaim Arrakis. Don't fail me."
N nods quietly as he processes the message. He looks behind him, and there's now a stand with a chestplate on it, and across it were the 2 men in the uniform. He stands up on his feet and walks towards them, his tail swaying in the air. When he gets there, he turns around spread his arm in a T shape, allowing them to put the chestplate on. One of them grabs the chesplate and disassembles the armour into two, giving one of them to the other. The person gets infront of him and places the front plate on his chest. The other man then places the back plate on his back. They push the places together on his chest a bit, clicking into place.
They move away from him, allowing his arm to break away the T shape. He looks down on his new chestplate; it's palette is of a very light grey, with razor sharp cones on his shoulders; it has a emblem on the middle of his chest, with the symbol of the Corrino imperium emblazoned on it.
"Well then, we should give you your own pair of soldiers for protection purposes, during your stay on Arrakis." The general announces, leading N to reply, "Yes. Do it."
After he says it, 2 fully armoured Sardaukar soldiers come in, one with a Lasgun and the other a Sardaukar sword. They salute at the newly armoured drone, leading him to croak, "come with me. I'm going on the ship to Giedi Prime." He starts to walk out of the room with his new bodyguards. He doesn't look around the entire time, just straight ahead. A few men in grey uniform walked past him, minding their own business. Eventually he gets outside into the hangar, looking up into the sky; it wasn't raining, like yesterday, just cloudy.
He then gets on a ship in the middle of the hangar; it was another CHOAM frigate, with it's boxy shape, 4 legs as its stabilators. The frigate opens up it's entrance under the belly, leading N with his guards to get in. He picks the nearest seat to the entrance, so that it would the as little time to get out. The guards then on sits down near him, for protection purposes. After a few minutes of waiting, the door closes on its own, and N feels the frigate moving off the ground, and begins ascending out of the atmosphere. He can't see anything outside the frigate, just the inside. After a few hours of him inside his thoughts, he feels the frigate land on a solid surface, and after that, the door opens. N gets up and walks out of the frigate into a hangar full of men presumably spotting someone or something moving through them, trying to catch it.
Perhaps I should catch it myself, N thought to himself.
Then, another man in Harkonnen blue and orange uniform materialises out of nowhere; unlike the previous ones he met back on Selusa Secundus and the Guild ship he and Uzi were transported at, he was pretty well-built, with blonde hair, chiseled beard, and brown eyes; to cap it all off, he was wearing a couple of medals, and a cap.
"Welcome, N," greets the general.
"Oh, hey there," announces the drone.
After a little gesture, he leads N and his guards towards the main control room. After a 7 minutes of walking, and potentially hearing noises from the vents, he's finally in the main control room; it was grey, filled with computers, men, and wires; in the middle of the room, was a tank, a big one, being connected with more wires; the glass was also tainted in orange, for who knows what reason; there was also something inside the tank; it doesn't even look human, it looks... fish-like. N ignores who or what it is, as he stares into the large bulletproof glass infront of him, exposing the distant void of space. After a few hours of just staring into the outside, the ship began moving. He turns around, and sees the generals that greeted him back at the hangar. The fish thing began moving it's thin, alien-like hands. He turns his head back, and sees that all the stars and planets began moving like sand. N's eyes became hollow as a result of seeing that there were way more planets then he thought. He quickly gets over it, having his neon yellows eyes turn back to normal. After about 50 minutes of traveling, they're finally orbiting the planet like a moon. N looks at the planet, his face not even changing a little bit. N decided to head back to the hangar to head onto the planet. After another 7 minutes of walking, he's back at the hangar. He walks over to the ship that he left. Then as if on cue, the door opened, allowing him to enter back in. He looks behind him and finds his Sardaukar bodyguards walking towards him like stray cats After being fed. He sits on the same seat as before, but his bodyguards decided to sit parallel of him. After about 4 minutes, the pilots came in and entered the cockpit. After a few minutes of waiting, door closes, and the ship began to take off. N began to lose himself in his thoughts, thinking about Uzi, their lives before the Sardaukar's landing on Copper 9.
No, no. She was a thinking machine. Nothing shall be made in the likeness of a human mind, N thinks to himself, pushing the thoughts to the side. As if on cue, the ship lands on the planet of Giedi Prime. Then, the door opens up, allowing him to stand up and exit the ship. He marvels at the planets unique appearance; Selusa Secundus' colours were black, white, grey, and a tint of blue, unlike Giedi Prime, which does not have the slightest tint of colour, even the sky. It was like being in a film made in the 1940s-50s.
N didn't think of the planet's atmosphere, listening to his commands. After listening to the command, which gave him the address and objective, he began walking, with his bodyguards hot behind him.
