Tessa Elliot's journal no. 34, 10,193 -
The wind was intense, but we pulled through. Even though it's 11 in the morning, the sky is still night, with stars shining from above and Copper 9's moon is clearly visible. Me and the squad was in a straight line while we ventured on deeper into the unknown. Several soldiers collapsed into the snow, succumbing to the cold weather. We left them there to freeze to death, and the fellow soldiers didn't care to help them. I was freezing myself, but I'd rather have my toes, fingers, and ears cut off than just get it over with.
"Mrs, where should we set up camp?" Asked one soldier, his arms crossing his chest to preserve body beat.
"I'm thinking of seeing up camp near here," I replied, pointing at some sign with the words:
camp 98.7
Est. 3001.
This camp is about 800 years old."Follow me," I say, pointing to a shack which is about 100 metres away from the sign; it was wooden, covered by trees. We walked through the trees, and, we've lost about 3 soldiers to the cold, all collapsing into the snow, unable trek through the wastelands any longer. Uzi and N are alright as of writing this.
We've finally got to the shack, the remaining soldiers collapsing to their knees, relieved that they aren't dead yet. We're now setting up camp, and, by camp, resting in the shack.
The shack was pretty comfy; it was wooden, oak wood, to be precise, with about twelve bunk beds on either side of the room; a fireplace is at the end of the room, with blocks of wood, a fire pocker, and a carpet resting on the floor near the fireplace. Yep, this is gonna result in it being burned to the ground. We have no insight on where N and Uzi, and I'm starting to become worried that my valuable soldiers are lost in the cold.
"Miss Elliot," Shouted out one Atreides soldier behind me. I turned around to face him, my hands on the hips as I listened to him:
"There's a lake five kilometres away from us. We now a direct supply of water."
"That's wonderful!" I shouted out, punching the air with the fist in excitement. After my excitement died down, I said: "all of us will go for a lively dip in the lake tonig--" before I finished my sentence, the soldier replied, "the lake is frozen solid."
"Oh," I blurt out, disappointed.
Tessa's entry ends here.(P.S. This part will contain fluff, soo... read at your own risk, Ig?)
Down deep in the forest, and the snow-covered grass, N and Uzi were walking side by side.
After Feyd and Paul's fight, N and Uzi came back together, but starting over, much like the time they first met back here, at Copper 9.
"Hey, Uzi?" N asked, fidgeting with his fingers. Uzi looked at N, her digital eyebrow rising in response.
"What is it?"
Now, it has been two years since the events of the Fremen uprising on Arrakis, and them starting back, so we're back to what they were before being interrupted by the Sardaukar; a happy, loving, almost suggestive couple.
N pulled some hair from his right head out of his view, his movements feminine.
"I've been having dreams. Or, well, I guess vision, about you getting killed by something taller than us, referring to himself as 'Erasmus.' You think she's the AbsoluteSolver?"
"What? No!" Replied Uzi, her tone dismissive, yet teasing. She scoffed, her hands making it's way into the pockets of her jacket. N's tail swayed softly, playing with Uzi's sentient tail, Khan Jr.
(Yes, I didn't forget about him, he wasn't a one-time character.)
"Y-You sure?" Asked N, stammering, his tone skeptical and scared. Uzi thought that N was just playing with her, to gain attention and love from the worker-disassembly.
"Yeah! I am! If she didn't bang on our doors for thirteen years, why would she do that in dreams?!"
Uzi chuckled softly to herself, continuing to walk with N as she nudged him softly with her elbow. N laughed uncomfortably, scratching the back of his head, his eyes Hollow.
Suddenly, they stopped in their tracks, with the two of them looking up. Uzi's eyes turn hollow as she looks up with N. All they saw was a small, yet comfy cabin, with oak woods as it's main material, with ice appearing on the top. N and Uzi look at each other, their eyes turning solid, both their mouths turning into sly smiles. After a few seconds of silence, they immediately shout out, "LET'S DO A COMPLETELY UNHOLY MAKE OUT SESSION!!"
It was not like anybody is gonna hear them.
N and Uzi's eyes turn hollow again, immediately pointing fingers at them teasingly, copying each other, "W-What? No! Ew, why would we do that?!"
Upon noticing what's going on, their digital eyebrows furrow, before speaking back to each other again, "H-Hey, stop copying me! No, YOU stop copying me!"
They start to laugh hysterically, finding out that they're thinking the same thing. N and Uzi's hands wrap around one another's necks, wiping digital tears away from their eyes with their free hands.
"Oh, N, I'm so glad you're a drone from some tyrannical assholes," Uzi blurts out, before her eyes turn hollow, and her free hand rises up to cover her mouth. She forgot.
N was an Atreides prisoner of war to the Harkonnens. One day, he was put in Project: High-scape, where they recycled drones from the now-reassembled House Elliot. Three dormant drone bodies were picked, along with three host. It was unknown who were the three hosts, or how they got into the drones, but it was presumed that their brains were put in chambers, controlling the drones' bodies from there.
