Tessa thought she wouldn't live to see this moment. But her thoughts were proven wrong. She, along with Uzi, were in a even larger temple than before, with even more Fremen; most were southerners, who believed in the Lisan-Al-Gaib; and as for the northerners, they don't. But what they do believe in that the last artificial would free them from their rulers. Unfortunately, however, it was overshadowed.
Tessa sighed softly, placing the pencil down on the hardwood floor, before closing her journal. She had written what she saw back at the previous temple; Paul gaining the eye of Ibad, (a term for the blue-within-blue eyes of the Fremen.) Chani leaving him, and convincing the other Fremen in the room to believe the Lisan-Al-Gaib. Tessa places the journal in her backpack, looking to her left to see Uzi; she was like before, purple jumper, tooth-pick legs of a female disassembly drone, and her beanie. But, she had something else; a brandy brown rag was covering her already-cracked visor, with the exchange of making her emotions harder to see. She also kinda looks like Gojo.
"Why are they here anyway?" Asked Uzi, her tone of an angsty teen. She groaned for a second, before letting Tessa reply. "Lisan-Al-Gaib. That's why the southerners are here," replied Tessa, shrugging softly. The worker-dissasembly groaned softly, looking way from Tessa as she does so. Tessa then looks away from her, looking at the helmet laying infront of her, before driving her attention to something in her pouch. She shoves a hand into the pouch, her hand gripping around the object. Tessa's hand pulls away from the pouch, the object in her hand. She places the fingers on her other hand around the other side of the object; it was a piece of paper, and a folded one at that.
She unfolds the paper, the movement of her hands slow, yet firm. Upon fully unfolding it, her eyes process the picture embedded on the paper; it was a printing of the Duke, Leto Atreides, his clean face, his short hair, and his prominent beard glowing from the picture. Who know, maybe Tessa's a simp for the Duke of House Atreides.
"This prophecy is how they enslave us!" Barks someone from within the crowd sitting on the floor; it sounded female, but, suddenly, she stopped her continued sentence.
Weirdo, thought Uzi.
They all sat there for a few minutes, with Tessa going through her previous journal entries, Uzi still thinking about N, and the crowd sitting there, some praying.
Suddenly, horns sounded from the entrance, leading to both Tessa and Uzi to quickly turn their heads. They saw a group of people parading down the small path, with Lady Jessica up front.
Then came Usul, walking through the same path.
The crowd began to exclaim in surprise as Paul walked through him, his face slightly bowed down like the anime kids walking through the hallway to a p.e session on a Tuesday morning.
As Paul stepped onto the circular platform situated in the middle of the temple, they stood up, including Uzi and Tessa.
One Fremen man, situated near the platform, stood up, facing Paul, "Madhi, Madhi, only tribe leaders can speak. If you wish to share your voice," he says, pointing to sonething behind Paul, "you must take his place by defeating him and returning his water to the well." As the man finished, another one stood up, in the gaze of Paul.
Paul then turned to the man, replying, "you think I'm stupid enough to deprive myself of the best of us?" Before continuing in the Fremen language, translating: "do you smash a knife before battle?
The other person took off his robes, revealing that Stilgar was in them, "take my life, Usul," calmly demanded Stulgar, before whipping out his Crysknife from his back, continuing, "it is the only way."
"I'm pointing the way!" Shouted Paul to Stilgar, leading for the crowd to murmur in shock. Uzi stood there, dumbfounded.
Paul then began to shout in the Fremen language: "there is no way in this room who can stand against me!"
That seemed to be the last straw for the crowd, as they began to shout in anger, pulling out their own weapons, except for Uzi and Tessa, who just stood there like statues.
"Your mothers warned you about my coming!" Barked Paul, speaking in the Fremen language, of course.
"Fear the moment," continued Paul, leaving Uzi and Tessa to stand in the crowd, no understanding what he's saying.
Silence fell upon the crowd, letting Paul to eye one person who stood infront of everyone. Paul slowly walked towards the man, before stopping, and crouching down.
"But you think you could have a chance," taunted Paul to the man, who still stood there, leading for Paul to speak, in the Fremen language;
"But you're afraid, what if I could be the one? This could be the moment you've been praying for, all your life."
Paul then stood up, continuing his slow walking to the man, continuing his sentence, "You're praying right now to your grandmother. She died nine moons ago. She lost an eye, a rock smashed her face as she was crossing the belt. She was twelve when it happened. At that time, this world had a fremen name..." Paul trailed off, leaving a long pause, before saying:
"Dune."
"Lisan-Al-Gaib!" Exclaimed the man, bowing down, with lots of other doing so.
"Maud'Dib," whisper to himself.
Paul then walked back up the platform, shouting out in the Fremen language, pointing:
"In your nightmares, you give water to the dead, and it brings joy to your heart!"
The person bowed down, crying out, "Maud'Dib," with more people bowing down.
"Mahdi, what do you foresee for us?" Asked Stilgar, in Fremen.
"Green paradise," Answered Paul, looking over to his left.
Upon hearing it, Stilgar lowered himself to his knees, arms spread out, "Lisan-Al-Gaib, show us the way!"
Paul then grabbed his left glove, throwing out of his hand, and onto the floor. His right hand then makes its way into one of pouches, before pulling out something.
"This is my father's ducal signet," Explained Paul, showing it to the crowd. If it were bigger, then everyone would see it. Paul then puts it on the hie left index finger, before yelling out, with his arm in the air,"I am Paul Maud'Dib Atreides, Duke of Arrakis!" Before switching to Fremen, "let the hand of God be my witness, I am the Voice from the Outer World, I will lead you to PARADISE!"
"Lisan-Al-Gaib," Shouted out the crowd, including Stilgar, with his knife in the air, along with the others
Haha! My boy! Thought Tessa, grateful that the boy had just rallied up thousands of natives. The crowd began to chant 'Lisan-Al-Gaib!'
